No its definitely gone up, my girlfriend ordered it for me on my birthday, June 11th and it was £202 I told her to cancel the order though due to contemplating selling the car 😣.

Anyway.. I have a spare pair of secondary cat delete pipes sat in the back of my van if you've not already made the purchase?

The poor exchange rate is likely the cause of the price increase.

Plus awesome were already seriously cheap. Still at the price they are offering it is still more than fair.

Bought and fitted the 034 Motorsport Anti Sway Bar last night. Brilliant mod that from what I can see after a spirited drive last night has totally transformed the rear of the RS3. Feels dramatically more planted at the back and that body roll on cornering has gone. Wish I had taken the plunge months ago!

RS3 8P - Daytona Grey - Stage 2+ - 430hp - DSG Map - Turbo Back Milltek Exhaust - Wagner v3 Intercooler - 034 Motorsport Intake - 034 Motorsport ARB - 034 Motorsport Dogbone insert - 034 Motorsport Top Mounts - Bilstein B14 Coilovers

Majorly impressed with mine Roy, I'd certainly agree it transforms the cars handling.

I'm just in the process of sorting a BBK so I can enjoy that handling for longer periods when having a spirited drive 👍

I bought one second hand and i am just on my way to collect it as we speak. Can't wait to get it fitted. Hopefully knock a few seconds off my lap times at the ring too!

As you found out the rear ARB desperately needs to be swapped out for a decent item on these cars, its a must do mod. Leave it at that and enjoy the change.

Just hit the purchase button, Rob; with you and so many others, including personal advice from P_G, thank you, and Roy; I've just gotta give it a try...   :)

You won't regret it John. If anything you will wonder why you hadn't done it before.

Remember to put it on the stiff setting as that suits the chassis AOK.

Will do, Rob, thank you; BLUEY should/will be over the pit on Thursday...

Question: you notice any difference with the EBC Redstuff pad swap i.e., same/better/worse?

To be honest John I think I should have scuffed the disks up when I fitted the new ones. Although I thought I had bedded them in all OK I got the distinct smell of burning pads the other night after some prolonged heavy braking and soft pedal feel. The discs were mirror smooth from the old pad contact and I thought the bed in compound on the new Reds would suffice but maybe not. I will be taking them out ASAP and get the scotch pads out to rough up the discs and something a bit rougher on the pads and try again.

Interesting, Rob; and that's why I asked.

M2/Grit 70 sand paper on flat glass is what I use for the pads.  And 600 wet and dry (used dry with a rubber block) on the discs, just need to break the glaze.  Doing the inside faces of the brake discs in situ are a pain....

Have fun   :)

Thanks John, most likely the earliest I will get the time is over the weekend. I'll let you know how things go afterward.

OK, OK, OK, OK....

Ordered at 14.56 on the 22nd and fitted, road-tested and evaluated and convinced by 13.05 on the 23rd; not bad going for a 71-year old who had his prostate removed some 14-weeks ago

So BIG, BIG, thanks to Duke3D, P_G, and JayRS3, and Roy, and anyone else who's recommended this 034 Motorsport bar, it's amazingly suitable for the 8P Audi RS3.

As Paul and P_G know I've been toying with this mod for some time but 'our' big 'C' issues have held up play for some time but on Sunday last while toying with classic 'sprint' cars at Curborough and reviewing suspension set-ups I thought stuff it, gotta give it a go - shrouds/pockets and all...

TRUE, the four M8 x 25 long capscrews supplied (pedestals to chassis) are too short; M6 x 35mm long are needed - and fortunately I had those in stock, and in stainless steel, too.

Message to Paul: get well soon and do it!  Get the bar and we'll do it...
