Finally home and fitted the discs and pads. Passed an hour or so.
I have to say I do like the grooved discs the best.

How are they feeling Markmac ?? Also what psi are u running your Goodyear tyres at? My grip isn't the best right now.
They feel night and day compared to stock discs and Red stuff pads. Initial bite is far better as you would expect. Apart from the 034 rear ARB these are the best upgrade so far. I am running stock pressures and haven’t really suffered with any grip issues as yet to be honest.

I just went for Ferodo DS performance Dell, first impressions are very good. Might have to go for DS2500 next time as the performance seem to be a bit of a mission to get hold of.
I can’t thank you enough for recommending Reyland, saved me a few quid and they are a quality set up.

Im glad your happy & anytime mate.
I've had no problems with the DSs doing a couple off 100mph/100 yard stops !
The DSs are half the price of DS2500s & less disc wear & if you don't mind no wear sensors i used FDS1334 @ £80 from Ebay.

Has Reyland given any indication on the possible life span of the discs? I know it's a bit of a "How long is a piece of string" question, but the stock rotors are awful, mine are shot far too early given the costs involved, they have not even been driven hard for the vast majority of my driving.
Stephen.
OEM pads eat the discs as for wear rate on the Reyland discs that depending on what pads your using.
Reyland recommend Ferodo DS2500s so I think there quite hard wearing mate.

Good thing about the Reyland discs is they might be slightly more expensive on initial purchase but the fact you only replace the rotors means it’s cheaper than a new set of original discs. They are far better performing so it’s a win win in my eyes anyway.

That was my view when I went down the Reyland disc route & the advantage of slotted instead of cross drilled discs.
I normally have a long term strategy with mods to my RS inc the cost down the road mate.

On that note, how much are the Reyland replacement rotors without the bells etc?
I’m sure I read they are £395 and around £15 for the bolts. I’m sure Dell will know for sure he has spoke with them quite a bit.

Scrap that just looked on their website and it’s £340 for the rotors.
Mark.
That's the price I can get the OEM spec C discs for so now i've got the complete Reyland discs changing the rotas at a later date is cost-effective & using the DS pads is worthwhile mate.😁

Speak to Trevor at RFT.I'm struggling to locate any of the ds performance brake pads, one set on Amazon but virtually the price of ds2500's. Any one know of a supplier with stock? Also what are you guys using on the rears with the Reyland discs?
