There was plenty of places on the way to the Nurburgring. Several sections between Aachen and Cologne, and then heading up towards Nurburgring itself. I bottled it before traffic/road conditions more often than not.

TTRS event last week
Nice - thank you for sharing. Definitely prefer ones with the black pack. And do those white ones have body coloured mirrors?
I know I'm' probably in a minority but I like RS models with body coloured mirrors - like my much missed RS2. (And the SO specced an 8L S3 with body coloured mirrors and she still looks stunning 14 years later).
I was really excited about the idea of the RS3 saloon but not convinced now I've seen the recent press photos. The TT RS looks appealing (price aside) if the RS3 sportback isn't going to get a reprise. Not in the market for one in the near future (replaced the 1 series with a sensible motor for now). But maybe one day I'll be able to get back into 5 cylinder RS loveliness.
