After almost 20 runs on the Dyno at QST last Monday, all I really drove away with was have your car/engine etc checked by Audi..... (added to the fact Charlie at SRR was surprised my MTM result was lower than the stock result on his Dyno.. I was a little.... hmmmm.. hesitant let's say, to see what Audi said...)
I was confident the car/engine was healthy after a punishing run back from QST last week though (stock), it returned no unwanted sensations, hesitancy, smoke, vibration, stutter (anything you can think of)....
So yesterday, my car was into Portsmouth Audi to be "health" checked on their diagnostics machine.....
I also asked them to apply any/all TPI's and software update available for my car.....
...Suffice to say it returned 100% healthy from their perspective, nil problems or faults recorded in the ecu. Also, there are nil outstanding TPI's or software updates that could be applied to my car, my ecu software is still at version 003 (current latest for my VIN, say Audi, though we know some are at version 005), and Kim suspected this ecu version "may" have messed with the M-Cantronic in some way and we were hoping it would be updated to potentially resolve the issues observed.
I'm now back to see Kim on Friday to see we go from here as according to his Dyno, my car only produced 375HP tuned, with some improvement on Tq (so as to why the car "feels" better than stock when using the bum-dyno).
...to be continued...
