Think 8p RS3 looks better from every angle mate.
Good choice on your RS3

Yeah the Subaru had a crap engine, it was crap to drive , just all round crap ! Don't know why I bought it !

You know what I think your correct ! Even this angle !

I think it had a nicer rear but that's about it ! I'll let you judge

Loud and rather vulgar in my eyes - you have definitely upgraded!

Happy owner here.

My car is currently reliable, does all that is asked of it, and with its new map has much more power than I reasonably need.

My various Porsches never felt like that.

Yes, there have been problems but nothing terminal and thanks to this excellent forum nothing which has not been seen, dissected and often cured by others.

My wife doesn't like it, so that means it's definitely a keeper. At least until the next best thing comes along to tempt me! :)

Now my 3rd Audi with the 4th one on order ;)

S3(8p) RS6(C5) RS3(8P) & an RS3(8V) on order.

My wife drives an S3(8p) & had an S3 (8L) 225 beforehand.

All have generally been very reliable & have only encountered minor faults, nothing major.
All in all, we're very happy with Audi's & will continue to purchase & recommend them :)

I have to say that I am happy with mine and have been fortunate thus far to have the only major issue (brakes of course) sorted under warranty.

Only other niggle has been the service departments resonse to the rusting rear hub carriers and rear lower suspension arms  ("only surface rust") and understand they only following company directives on this. I have fixed the former using 45vbtc guidelines ( :up_it: ) and cleaned up the latter a little - might do a better job if could work inside !!

is it a keeper ? Probably not but then thats just me .... something shiny will come along to tempt me  ;)

I equally love mine to bits, despite the numerous brake replacements, primary cat issues, nearly swapped it for a C63 but a car is a car and the RS3 is a superb car, every time I sit in it and fire it up I have to remind myself that I am the proud owner of an RS3....

An immense brute of a car... 5/5

Yup, loved mine from the day I got it and still do even though it's broke at the moment. Currently it's a FWD, gear jerky monster so I have to treat it carefully otherwise its just wheel spinning everywhere and can't get the power down. Hopefully this will get sorted next week when it goes in to the dealer. Haldex pump I hope as this seems quite common.

A slight veer off topic, for those that have had a replacement Haldex pump whilst I appreciate it is on warranty can someone find out how much it would be to purchase. weighing this up vs. cost of extending warranty

I've just had a cracking drive to Pot Shrigley and back to see a customer......
I'd forgotten how good the RS is on the country lanes

Even the customer was admiring the RS when I got there.

Audi dealers aside, it is a cracking car, 600 miles in 2 days and little on the road to touch it highlighted it to me last weekend
