And you can seat 4 in comfort, 5 at a push and return over 32mpg on a long run at UK motorway speeds.
I just get itchy feet, from time to time...

Mine will be 3 years old at the end of the month and with some 8pot calliper and Bilstein love garnished on it, it will now be staying a good bit longer. I had earlier this year contemplated swapping, I've had extended drives in RS4, RS6, Jag F-Type Coupe, Tesla P85D but whilst all have advantages and are excellent cars in their own right they are not significantly better as an all round package.
As for faults, one replaced diff, a replaced door hinge which seized, a replacement window 3/4 trim due to corrosion, some holes drilled in the front bumper to ventilate the brakes and the brake 'upgrade' and mine had been faultless. Am I surprised; no. Because as I have maintained form the outset those RS models driven as designed i.e. every day with mechanical sympathy keep on running. I don't find it as intoxicating or rewarding as the B7 RS4 but it is far more clinical in demolishing everything in its path from A to B in the confines of UK roads and is discreet enough to most. That said probably as many people look and notice it is an RS3 as those who noticed the RS4, something my kids and lady P_G always note when people are looking at the car (if its blokes then obviously they are eyeing up lady P_G in her mind!)

Hahahaha , I wasn't I was just pointing out my only concern , apart from that I'm 100% smitten with the cars looks performance and economy it's a real good all round car even with the family in ! And the noise is to die for !
I did start another thread for my concern lol.

BAD news travels FAST; GOOD news is a little SLOWER; but these Audi RS3s are GREAT cars and need some GOOD publicity otherwise come re-sale they'll be worthless and that's all I'm saying here; OUR Audi RS3 cars NEED some some GOOD on-line news spreading....

Current ownership
Corrado VR6 20 years and still love it to bits, not one major fault.
MkI Golf GTI, fully rebuilt, so unfair to comment
A3 Sport 3.2 only minor niggles and owes me nothing
R32 Golf, been a gem and sounds lovely
S3 no major issues either and a joy to own
RS3 MK2, so far so good....
I have also had and sold a few Golf GTI's, V5 and a faultless TT. So I am either very lucky or they are not all bad.

John, I absolutely love my RS3, even with its squealing brakes and poor mpg ... my heart aches at the thought that my deal will soon be over and it will most probably have to go back.

Vito, why not just keep it and wash the final payment balloon out at the same monthly amount as you pay now?

Love my car its by far and away the best car I have owned
Yes its had a few niggles but I still get a buzz after nearly two years of ownership its a brilliant car,,,
I think we all like to KNOCK the car when we have a problem its only natural.(some problems last longer than others Sean )
But I think if one person gets a problem and posts it on here it has a knock on affect and then we ALL look for that problem in our car.
But still more than happy with mine
Good topic John

Roy I've said this to you many times before ,John and I discussed this when I had my car as I was listening for every noise the car made, it almost turns into forum hysteria when someone reports a fault on their car .The 8p RS3 is a great car I enjoyed the short time I owned mine and only sold it because it didn't suit my needs .
