Me, 45BVTC, for one can't believe some are still MOANING about this bl**dy Audi RS3 car; on and on and on and on; it's embarrassing

I'm almost ashamed to go out in mine lest someone points and laughs and shouts "WHAT A BAG OF SH*TE that is"

And here's me one of the oldest and longest owners of an 8P Audi RS3 - AND CONTENTED still!

Maybe it's time we re-assessed ourselves.

For sure, many of the complaints about the original Lotus Elan - and believe me, I was there - came from purchasers who in truth wanted a short-wheelbase LAND ROVER!

I'm guessing/feeling here on AudiRS3OCnow that there's some just the bl**dy same...

If you don't like it get rid and get something you do like and stop the bl**dy moaning; and on, and on, and on...

THROW me off again I don't care but c'mon...  Wake up, see the sunshine, and all - the Audi RS3 is a bl**dy fabulous motor car...

I love mine and still love mine....has been costly, but which performance car is faultless these days?

The howl of the 2.5 TFSI Engine at full pelt puts rear wheel C63, M4's and M5's to shame!

Good point again John,

I honestly love my car,,,,, when its good its great but its the to-ing and fro-ing to the dealer every 6/7 weeks or so thats the pain in the RSe...

I have often thought of getting rid but then I think what can I replace it with          M4 ,,,no   GTR,,,,no  some sort of Porsche,,,no the list goes on

The only car that I would change for at this moment is an Ftype Jag (s or r type) just for the sound is good enough reason

But even one of those would be slower and less economical ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so its staying for the forseeable future or until the RS3 saloon comes out !

So as John says ,,,,,More good news please !

Thank you Roy and AudiRS3; My apolgies (for sometimes) but I just get pi**ed off reading the won't/can't sh*t while searching for the yes we can/this works for me stuff: it's all can't do rather than will do and I just wish I was starting over,,,

I think the Audi RS3 is amazing as a day to day do it all in whatever weather motor car and get pi**ed of when all I read on a suposidly RS3 supporting forum is the why nots and can't dooooos and this car doesn't and is just garbage...

I don't want to hear it!  GET over it!

Give me a problem and I'll have a go at a resolution but PLEEEEESE not the 'that won't work sh*t' unless you have a realistic alternative

Don't want to upset anyone but don't care if I do but for me the car's the star and I can't stand by seeing it slagged off so

If I found something better for me than an 8P Audi RS3 I'd have it already, period...

No pockets in shrouds, believe me...

The car's the STAR and NOT the driver

And we must remember that most if not ALL of this Forums contributors contribute to the 'other' Forum in one way or another albeit using a different name and how sad is that...

Mine touch wood is performing faultlessly with even better braking and dynamic performance than before. Just to fix the exhaust to my liking and I'll be happy until the RS3 saloon arrives......

Well I will have had mine for one week tomorrow (Saturday) and it is impressing me more and more with each passing day. Have driven 740km so far, so am starting to explore it's talents and I can tell you it has more grip than I have balls at the minute. Still a LOT to learn about this car, and that is a great feeling.

I am absolutely lovin' it!

I'd keep pumping money into mine as I love the 8P. Can't help but to make small upgrades to make it even better. I've been throughout the whole class. A3, S3 & RS3. Can't get away from it and now it fulfils all my needs. Even my German Shepard fits in the back comfortably.

It's ALL my fault really, sorry..

I am a half FULL glass guy and always wanting it brimming over...

Found nowt as an everyday machine I'd change BLUEY for but then I think I've said that before...

Sorry, didn't mean to offend, just that I'm wanting my balloon to be going up, and up, and up...   :3:

John we are all here for the same reason, and at the end of the day: offense can only be taken, not given ;-)

I am more of a "Glass half EMPTY" kind of guy, means less disappointments that way ;-)

I love mine all cars have niggles the biggest niggle I think most have is the unhelpfulness of the dealers when issues are raised !
The RS3 ticks so many boxes sounds great , front is lovely and aggressive looking the rear I would have loved twin pipes like the new shape but that's minor .
It goes like stink, handles beautifully once 034 fitted can be used as a family taxi and isn't horrendous on fuel unless your giving the fully Colin McRae rally !
All in all a cracking motor !

I have been lucky enough to own an 8V RS3 for nearly 6 months now and I love it to bits. We are looking to change the S3 soon (8p) and another S3/RS3 it will be. What a different and smile on your face car it is.

The RS3 is so damn quick in "real life" and the sound is just something else. I have not used the B&O properly yet, because of the sound to be honest and that is no lie.

I have had no recall issues or severe faults and would buy another tomorrow. If I were to change, I honestly have nothing in mind to replace mine, nor want to.

There's not much I can add to all the praise already given to a great car.

My RS3 always puts a big smile on my face whether driving it, or just admiring it. Always loving it.

RS3 is the affordable practical every day family car, transformer, race car.        :up_it:

I've not even got mine yet and I'm sick of reading all the negative sh*t about how this that and the next thing's crap. Being away from cars for a few years then coming back to them by buying my dream car (anything in the RS range) and having to listen to all these greeting faced biatches it's kinda ruining the experience of the wait.. I'm excited as hell about getting this car and I'm sure if there's anything I dislike I'll live with it because as far as I've seen on today's market there's NOTHING compares as an everyday all rounder. Obviously that's my opinion and I'm more than happy to hear anyone else's but F*CK sake, as mentioned above if your nae happy sell up and let a real fan appreciate this extremely awesome piece of engineering.

Thank you please :D

profound words ginge - well said buddy. Takes the glossy side off waiting for our ours to arrive.
Happy for people to bounce problems / solutions / ideas - but can't there be a new tread titled MY CAR HAS AN ISSUE.
Then we can just skip past it if we don't want to read it ???
