A couple of high speed (110mph+) stops should deglaze. How can Audi Techs do that?
Master Tech who fitted mine certainly didn't.
Did anyone get a copy of the TSB?

Spoke to the Tech yesterday and he told me that they were only allowed short test drives and to stick to the speed limits. They are only replacing them if you ask them to TSB number is 47i6.Bedded mine in this morning and have noticed different colour and less brake dust also the braking seems better.

Hello everyone,
My brother-in-law has an RS3, but I want to talk about my wife's S3 8P, where we (AJPerformance Italy) had installed the RS3 font end.
Immediately we got struck by HUGE brake vibration, just as soon as the discs start to heat up. Tried 4 different non-oem pad compounds, and had a set of floating discs purpouse-produced, but nothing!
Till you drive easy, the brakes work and are compliant: the moment you start pushing, the front discs vibrate as bad as they possibly can!
Seeing the new, uprated caipers with anti-vibration blocks on the back I understand that this really is an engineering fault.
Given that this car of ours is modified, I can't walk in to a dealer and ask to be TSB'd.
From here, does anyone have the Audi codes for the following:
- full TSB kit
or
- singular TSB kit parts
Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum
Your not the first S3 owner to suffer from vibration or squeal since swapping to the RS3 set up.
The new brake disc number is: 8P0.615.301.B
Calipers and pads appear to have this number in the service bulletin but someone please check: 8P0.698.996

Under any braking other than the lightest of light touches, their is a grinding noise from one or both of the fronts. Back into Audi next week.
Should I mention it started during a track day? Or keep quiet?
Any thoughts?

My problem had come back. ( it's had the full kit installed and was fine for 1500 miles)

Errrmmmm...
I'd not mention a track day however over cooking any brakes on a track day could lead to those problems.
Might be a daft question but did you end up doing a lot of heavy braking and get the brakes hot?

I did quite long sessions of 30 mins each as I was having tuition
I guess I'm going to get this happen every time I track it then?

I would suggest you may have cooked your pads, they and possibly your discs have glazed and this is what is causing your squeel. You may be lucky that Audi will replace but certainly don't mention circumstances.

Oh yes! You need to talk to DaveB for some track brake set-up.
These are easily cooked.
Try not to mention the track day to Audi Lol...
