Mine's back, with all new shiney Disc's pads and calipers.
Obviously its early days but no noise yet.
Hartmut, the brakes are been done free, i'm guessing what he mean't was the cost for them to do this would be £2k

Let me just get this right: You have to pay for the update?
Just posted it in our board, in Germany the update is definitly free of charge!
Currently you can even buy the update for 500€ at ebay!
No it was free, the cost is what it's costing Audi to retify each car....

Not sure yet, the wife picked up the car late Friday and there was no paperwork given to her and i haven't had chance to talk to the service dept yet.

The Haldex Software update IIRC is on models from a certain build date. Mine was done but LC still works in the traditional manner so the info. first put out that I latched on to that it only worked with ESP on normal mode was wide of the mark.
Still nothing on when mine will be booked in for brake replacement although Audi were using the fact I was overseas until the end of last week as a reason not to update me.

Surpisingly I have just had a call from Tyneside Audi to say they have a new set of discs, calipers and pads arrived this morning (which even surprised them) for my car and am booked in for June 4th for fitting.
New brake kit fitted over last Friday. Feels good. Even more surprisingly, my steeering wheel shake has now gone!!!
Finally spoke to the service dept regarding the car been in for the Brakes done Friday.
They have confirmed that no other updates were needed, nothing, no Haldex, no fuel issue.....................nothing.
They did fix an annoying metallic creaking i had been getting from the Drivers Buckey seat sub frame, which started since the Go Track experiance.

Just picked mine up, the brakes are well beeded in, front wheels are black! But can confirm I now have the 'B' spec discs, new calipers with weights in place and pads. Given they have just mullered the brakes in bedding them in they are a bit softer and a longer pedal trvale but I'm guessing that is just from the heat in thjem. If I had my modding head on I should have bought some HEL hoses and asked them to fit at the same time as brake fitting bleeding but hey ho. So far though, no in town squealing. Now all I have to hope is that it cures my wet weather braking problem but the calipers do look a slightly different design so fingers crossed.
