Nice now if you could just send it somewhere so they can copy it I'd happily be first in line to buy one. I'm quite interested in the kit but at £870 not including shipping from Germany someone is having a giraffe!

Be interested to hear your thoughts on it and any power gains, although NL-Carbon Air Intake looks more sensibly priced.

That's one expensive air box and filter did you look at any other solutions?

You can run a flexi pipe down to brake duct and use a bigger pipe going to the turbo and use the nl carbon scoop or just buy a piper cross intake ,but for me I like the look of the pph as its done right ..

It looks well developed but is 3 times the price of anything else. I've looked at the Pipercross Revo and CTS turbo intakes but not keen on anything that's open to the elements in the engine bay surely it's just going to suck in hot air.

Now if there was a group buy with healthy discount I'm not bothered if it's carbon ;-p

CTS no thanks ,revo intake got a few members taking it off again down to heat soak and the piper cross looks like the revo one ,but Glenn liked it and it did sound nice when I was revving the engine ,I've been to ITG in Coventry and it was a no go all that way for a panel filter ..

Anyone have any experience with the VWR intake kit which seems to have been removed from sale for a redesign?

Would like to see it as ITG work with vw racing :) remember the Ttrs kit does not fit a RS3 as the Ttrs has a section for the air flow at the front panel the RS3 does not plus that section off the Ttrs kit does not fit the front panel on the RS3 ..

John have you fitted this yet what are your thoughts any gains, more noise etc. Do you think the same could be achieved with a cold air feed run to an existing air box rather than an expensive custom replacement?

Hi john,a member runs a cold air feed to the existing intake box down to brake duct ,this is an option for sure ,you would just need a NL carbon scoop and maybe a bigger pipe going from the turbo to the intake box, the problem is with the RS3 its suffers from IAT ,especially if your running big power .another option that I've not seen is the front panel is blocked off unlike the Ttrs ,either cut it for more air flow there or buy a Ttrs panel and try to mod it to fit .all this said the pph kit works very well ,if I don't buy a new RS3 I will get one and do a few tests before and after on the forum...I,m sure I can hear it ,but that also could be the non res milltek ..

On the s3 8p2, this is open ,even behind the grill ,on the 8p1 there was a option to run a cold air feed down the the fog light..
