Anyones input will be appreciated...
Had multiple compression tests and leak tests.. results come back as a brand new engine...

I've changed the high pressure Injectors also but they wasnt the issue so I have a set of Injectors for sale

How about going back to your tuner as a 1st port of call with your running problem ?

Done that 4 times this month. Hence why we have new Injectors. And 3 sets of different plugs..

Sounds tuning related to me, easy to make a car go fast on WOT but the drivability side of the tune is a different ball game all together.

I'm no expert but it probably a mapping issue especially as the turbo is quite large & your using it outside is designed zone as a daily drive.

As for the plug if there fouling/getting wet there either too cold a grade or the wrong type eg a shrouded race tip which won't self clean at low rpms instead of a projector nose type which will,or you have mapping issues.

The rub with the projector nose type are at high boost/rpms they may not be able to take the heat that well & melt up.

I have tried the denso ikh 0124 which Iroz recommend... they got wet on low rpm.

Ive had the ngk7438-8 these also got wet...

I have now the ngk r7437-8 which have the longer projection of 3.0mm compared to the 8-8 WHICH are 0.5mm

The ngk7437-8 are good for street driving and self clean at low rpms.. doesnt seem to help so far. Although these plugs ate looking way better than the other 2 did....

9s are even colder in heat range so will make the problem worst.

Most tuners can map a car for flat out use but low rpms & part throttle fueling is a skill.

I'm with Ben on this one.

You map to how the car needs to be so it will run properly with the hardware that is fitted.

How it drives on the school run will be down to the turbo once it's mapped properly.

You have to remember the likes of Hank at Iroz is just tracking the car for the 1/4 and 1/2 miles runs - it is not in use as a daily so the kind of set-up he is running is not going to do for anyone who wants to use the car on the street.

The tuning for an everyday car needs to take into account the range of different uses and conditions.

Hope you get it balanced out ok mate.

I always knew this would be a challenge. But I'm pretty sure things can be balanced... I mean school runs isn't all I do... occasionally I'll put some smiles upside down...

I have to say, I always thought that once the warranty (lol) has run down I would be getting MRC to breath on it - with all of the various issues people are flagging I am starting to think the APR route might be the better option?

MRC is the place to go.

Revo never seem to live up to the hype.
