Chris, were you in Low Fell yesterday by chance? Saw two Sepang RS4's within a mile of each other, one with black optics and Rotors like yours and the other with standard trim and v-spokes although not really paying attention to number plates as they were parked up as I was driving by.

Thanks lads, The colour looked great in the sun.

I chose the rotors as the concave on them makes the car look wider plus everyone seems to be just getting the Vspokes.

It's due for handover on the 1st of Sept so i'll get it on the 64 plate, seemed silly to get it two weeks prior to that.

How you getting on with yours then Chris?

Seems there are a few of us RS3 owners who've made the change to the RS4 now.

Love the colour and rotors.

I very nearly bought a Sepang RS3, before finding this one.

Nice one... really is splendid looking.

What are your plans re: mods?

Did Audi keep to their word with the trade-in of your old RS3?

Yes, i signed the deal with agreed valuations when I handed the deposit over so they've no reason not to.

I plan to drop it 15mm or so and add spacers, possibly and X pipe mid which is the RS4's version of the 2nd car delete.

Few cosmetic carbon mods too.

Tbh Mac I've had a bit of a mare with mine, sorted now though :)

5 days after I bought the car it broke down in France :( after plugging it into Vagcom it came up with multiple cylinder misfires, my first thought were the coil packs but couldn't get any in France so had to have the car recovered home. Once at my local Dealer (Teeside) they ran a few checks and determined the coilpacks weren't at fault, after a bit more investigating it was found that an exhaust valve spring had snapped on cylinder six which caused the issue. Unfortunately this meant the engine had to be pulled and heads removed to inspect for any internal damage. Thankfully there wasn't any, so Audi replaced the broken Valve spring and 2 valves and built it all back up, finally picked it up last week after spending 2 months in Audi :(

Despite my shear bad luck the car is brilliant, I bought it for the extra practicality it offers over the 3, and as mentioned previous the 3 is staying also :)

Best of both worlds IMO

Although it took a while I'm happy with the work carried out by Audi Teeside, they kept me informed regularly on progress and delivered a courtesy car to my home for my arrival back from work so I could stay mobile.

So now I'm just hoping to enjoy some trouble free motoring :)

Ahh I seem to remember reading the issues you had somewhere.

Good to see it's been sorted now though, I also could do with the extra space.

We end up taking the wifes range a lot of times just because it's bigger so it'll be nice to have more room.
