The shaft cost just over £400.00. Bit steep really but what can you do? Me mums a good knitter but not that good.

yes this is the front NS shaft and it is a genuine Audi part. The manual box has a female inner CV. The DSG box has a plug in male inner cv. The part that plugs into the diff will be a Male to male spline. If you go back and look at the pictures of the new TTRS box you can see the splined diff output shaft. Not sure how much this part is as it came with the new box, also I have no idea if it will fit the DSG but I would think it probably would.The rear shafts will be run until they break and depending on how reliable they are a solution will be found if needed. Have there been many rear driveshaft failures? Curing driveline failures is a very expensive job and as soon as you fix one problem it can cause failure in the next component. We have on order a sequencial box from Kaps. It is still being developed but should be ready by april. There will be a very low milage manual 6 speed kit available then.

Fuel fittings for fuel and breather in the top of tank and made alloy bung to seal of old filler neck. Just need to screw on the dry break connectors to the end of the pipes.
