I've just had the good news too that for mine to be what I want I'll need change the whole front and rear units plus steering rack..... Bushes bearings and bloody everything to TTRS to get what I want

Yeh seemed like half the job sat in bed dreaming of what could be done....big investment already so is it back off or plough on...so I'm with you on the pub talk thing
Least you know what your doing whereas I'm bloody clueless
I NEED TTRS PARTS and lots of them

I'd also be interested to know if you don't mind sharing. I take it the ones pictured are fronts?

The shaft cost just over £400.00. Bit steep really but what can you do? Me mums a good knitter but not that good.

Are you replacing rears the same, and similar money ? £400 for new ones front and again same for rear I can manage....might be silly question but are they genuine Audi or are there's even dearer ?

yes this is the front NS shaft and it is a genuine Audi part. The manual box has a female inner CV. The DSG box has a plug in male inner cv. The part that plugs into the diff will be a Male to male spline. If you go back and look at the pictures of the new TTRS box you can see the splined diff output shaft. Not sure how much this part is as it came with the new box, also I have no idea if it will fit the DSG but I would think it probably would. The rear shafts will be run until they break and depending on how reliable they are a solution will be found if needed. Have there been many rear driveshaft failures? Curing driveline failures is a very expensive job and as soon as you fix one problem it can cause failure in the next component. We have on order a sequencial box from Kaps. It is still being developed but should be ready by april. There will be a very low milage manual 6 speed kit available then.

Could someone have a look at their engine and tell me for sure which is the feed pipe and which goes out to the canister. Cheers.
