Front end knocking Jay. Suspect it’s a drop link and I’ve got the 034’s waiting to fit. I also have to strip my B16’s as I’ve noticed the top rubber isolator washers have split so also adding to the knocking. Added to that I need to strip my Superpro lower arms and re-grease the bushings and after all that I still need a full re-alignment as the pot holes around Berkshire B roads have shot my alignment as it feels like I’m running on the inner tyre shoulders
Which is what shot my previous 2 front tyres. I’m just so busy at work and a massive change in my personal life over the last 5 months I just haven’t had the time

Rob.

I'll give you a hand if you need it or come to me mate  :up_it:

Just had a read on some other forums and apparently the J hooks are noiser than others, I might give the slotted a bash but might just get the J hook, I’ll have to make my mind up by tomorrow

That is the case normal slots are a bit quieter that J hooks.

Have a look on APs web site as they have a right up about it.

Just literally came off their site, I guess it’s slots for me as I don’t need good initial bite, I doubt my car will be near a track in its life.

Ive got a full set of replacement Reyland Motorsport 2 piece discs hopefully arriving by the end off the week. :)

The fronts are fully floating, alloy bells & J hook slots all round at a cost of £1275 all in.

The fronts cost £760 inc p&p on there own.

I'll post pictures once they arrive mate.

Dell.

Afternoon Dell,

Did your discs turn up? I’m still waiting to hear about mine being sent out.

Cheers
Mark.

Quick update I’ve gone for the full Alcon setup, will take the car out in about a month to get all the fluids changed and whack the new brakes on

Makes sense! My car went in yesterday to get timing chain, variable cams etc and DMF done so mine should be here by the time it’s back out so that’s fine.
