Yeah Alex & Paul have sorted it out.

I had been in contact with a Forum Sponsor prior to this but they never came back with any options.

Those Alcons look seriously good.....

A kilo lighter too, they make the Audi discs look prehistoric

He did say another RS3 8V owner has had the new non wavy discs fitted under warranty and they seem to work better according to the owner. But they're still not handed for either side so ultimately still a bit poo. The Alcons at 380mm just fills the 19's out to the max now and looks wicked

Great choice of disc imo. I am looking to fit these some time this month.

Are those DS2500 pads? It looks as if they have brake sensor wires too?

I could be wrong but those look like the DS2000 I had on my old 8p (the type not the actual pad)

I'm sure the DS2500 come in a box with Ferodo Racing written on it.

DS Performance pads - R90 approved. As it's mainly a daily didn't want to fit DS2500 on this car. It's what Revo supply with this disc and 6 pot combo on their BBK kit so they've tested it thoroughly. No squeal and low dust. Will see how it copes if i take it on track again but should be better than OEM at least.

These particular pads are for the RS4 (same calipers / pad shape ) but the pad sensor wire plug is different so AKS has bridged the old plug for me so I don't have a dashboard light.

Not sure why Ferodo haven't done the DSP pad for the RS3 8V.

I have Alcons fitted to front with OEM pads and does seem an improvement, better brake feel & less fade. However, haven't bedded in properly & was getting brake squeal - now having go at proper bed in. I have a set of Red Stuffs which I will add to mix later if OEM pads don't improve.RS3 Alcon disc Rim 2_email size.jpg

VAGTech are running this disc with OEM pads - says it's fine.

AKS bedded in the brakes for me over 20 miles (sure he just wanted to do some pop pop bang bangs)

When I had them on the 8p they were the only squeal free pad I could find....

Sadly I was a fool and removed them after a brake expert posted on here that DS2000 was the totally wrong pad for a 330hp+ car the weight of the RS 3.

And yet the braking / bite / no squeal of the DS2000 were great.

The same 'expert' also lambasted me for saying they were R90 approved

its the oem pads that cause the squeal, put redstuffs on mine and it stopped it straight away!

After the front brakes driving me crazy by squealing all the time, finally bought some Vagbremtechnic discs and Ferado ds2500 pads.
Question the pads don't have a wear sensor, how can I stop the brake warning light?

Short the sensor out is the easy answer using the old pads plug/wiring  :)

I pulled that out the old pad and just taped it up but still shows fault on dash. Would this still need resetting ?

Cut the cable, pull back the cover and solder ends together. Re cover and seal. Plug back in.
