where do the spacers go? Got a friend fitting mine this week

Am I correct that these are a bigger diameter than oem? And that the calipers need spacing further out?

I ask because there is hardly any space as it is to clear the caliper on oem rotor wheels. Any aftermarket wheels and you might be stuffed as the caliper could hit the barrel.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the spacers may be to move the Caliper out from its position to accommodate the slighter larger Diameter Disc.

 

The spacers must keep the pads running in line with the disc contact surface.

Yes you are correct the spacers are to move the caliper out slightly as the Alcon disc is 380mm diameter (OEM disc is 370mm), there are a couple of spacers included in the kit for each caliper. Just unbolt the caliper drop in the spacers and bolt it back up again (remember to fit the new disc first though :D )

I ordered a pair earlier this week, they should arrive Saturday hopefully.

 

 

REVO have been running these discs on their demo car with different wheels.
