I really hope the F2000s work for you. The slotted discs are know to be quite noisy when on temperature.

Anyway as I said before. If I wouldn't have the Audi Fleet Comfort (wear & tear which replaces brake components) I would go for aftermarket parts.

EBC discs and pads on the rear and Movits, Carbopad or Revo/Alcon on the front should be fine.

Why are you chaps swapping? Problems with OE or just want to change?

More a case of having faith in the brakes if I took it out on track for more than a 10 mins bash.

The OE set up is fine for road use, but when hammered constantly it really does fail badly due to the disc design.

Had AP 4 pots on 2 previous cars and the confidence they give you is immense in enjoying the car further.

I'll be looking to swap them over on it's 2nd service, before RS3 Fest 2017

They are some proper brakes and what I'll replace the standard discs with when they are done.

Hi twrs3, I don't need new discs yet on my 8P, but I will in the future so It would be nice to know the cost of the full AP kit , also would the 8P need to use a spacer like the 8V? but just one question, why would they need to use a spacer if they have custom bells, would the custom bells not allow the space required for the callipers

Cheers

Lee

The discs are 380mm vs 370mm on the 8V so it needs a spacer to push the calliper outwards towards the inside of wheel to accommodate the bigger disc. Be the same on the 8P as think that used a same disc size with 4 pot calipers

Revo Black Friday Global Sale starts on Thursday. I wonder if they'll be doing 20% off on the RS3 disc upgrade. I'll be mega tempted to go for it if they do!

Hi All,
I've just had rs7 rear rotors put on by awesome, with yellow stuff pads, I honestly think the best upgrade I've made.
Discs now match the front wavy's but the difference is phenomenal
Thanks to aoon for his blog, and costing me a fortune.

I did ok, got stung by BKS Tuning for the calliper brackets, but my daughter works for Audi so got the rotors at cost.

I was shown pictures of his old nardo smashed up on the autobahn, really felt sad for him after putting so much love into that car,
His new nardo has a sun roof, the old one didn't

Spotted the REVO/Alcon brake disc upgrade for the RS3 8V on their stand at Autosport International Show at the weekend. Have to say that I am impressed with the quality of the product. The part looks huge when its off the car.

REVO have been running a set on their demo car with Ferodo DS2500 pads (note - no wear sensors on these). The guy who runs the car said its a big improvement over the disappointing standard Audi set up.

(Edit: Dont know why the pics are turned at 90 degrees - sorry)

Looks good to me.

I contacted Robinsky to ask how he was getting on with his set - his feedback is very positive for these discs as an alternative to the orignal Audi fitment. I am probably going to try them  combined with some EBC Redstuff as I dont think that the Audi OEM pads are that good either.
