No 'hating' here... But Audi will be lovin' if they make a sale out of it ;-)

Expecting pics and review after/during the week's driving around...

Or they can sense a £60k sale...

I doubt I'd get one for a week! The "sell" for the RS3 consisted of a 10 min drive with the salesman in the passenger seat!

A week wow!

I like the look of the TTRS - wheels excepted - but I wouldn't fancy paying list price to act as a guinea pig for a new model with a new engine which you can't even specify

I could of had one of the early cars and decided against it for the guinea pig reason, the only time i want to visit a service department is when my cars mmi tells me it needs a service.

Interesting comparison, but because of the TT's price bracket, these are the rivals!

It was always going to have a tough time in a direct comparison, but there are a lot of positives in the article. For sure it's a decent drive, it just doesn't 'dance' like the other two. Which tells me that it is probably less likely to be found in a hedge...

If you can actually find or buy one! ;-)

Blackburn Audi have sold their well specced red one, They've a grey or nardo roadster left.

I was going to have a look but seeing as though I refuse to buy dealer specced cars I didn't bother.

I'm pretty sure we'll see more arriving, they hyped up the launch enough !

As promised a few pics of the two TTRS's that were in the showroom at Bristol Audi today.
I have to admit I was a little disappointed when seeing it in the flesh and not a 2 dimensional image.....as it didn't look that special, we all know it's about the engine mostly, but a TT should be a little more 'out there' in my opinion but as we all know and love/hate.... each to their own.

Not keen on the silver pack on the sepang blue (is that Sepang? Correct me if I'm wrong)
I liked the white with black combo best, but prefer the coupe not the posy roadster, should be about driving it not being seen in it

The Jury is out until I get to see a Nardo TTRS in all its 'unfinished' glory...

End of the day it's a very nice car, defo would consider one over the saloon RS3

Has anyone managed a report back form a test drive yet?

I think I'm the only one, but I think those new 7 spoke rotors look mint.

I actually like them too....but only the ones with the black painted recesses.

Was wondering what they would look like on the RS3 Sportback?

I Like the black exhaust tips too - wish I could get some to fit the standard sports exhaust on my car.

Yep I agree the black version will work best and would look great on an RS3. Would be good to see.

I believe the 20" 7-spoke rotors on the TTRS are 9" wide...

Those front brakes look suspiciously non-ceramic too!

I agree with OMR about the aluminium pack, does not look good at all for me.

Is that blue not Ara? Nice shade, though.

And your are correct no ceramics on those two..... and doubt we will see them!
Brake caplipers look identical to mine, disk hubs also just the actual discs are not the same wavy items, and noted they are NOT 'handed' so one side will suffer from over heating I would imagine...

also, while I was there I looked at 66 plate RS6 in the car park, awesome bit of kit btw..... but had steel brakes not the ceramics .....and even those disks were not 'handed' either.... just a point to add to the longest running thread about our 8V brake issues

Interesting to not see the wavy brakes. Wonder if they squeal though?!
