I'm also wondering if it's worth just changing out the crap Audi front pads when I get it and stick red or yellow stuff in?

I gave them a call to order mine, just to be sure. Make sure they don't send you MK1 pads if you order them spaceman.

Hi guys

That's my car, I installed the Zimmerman rotors, mpss tyres and 5mm rear spacers on delivery

Very happy with stance and clean oem look. Mpss fill the arches so much better with the squarer shoulder. Also grip and smoothness much improved over the pirellis

Is it possible to get rear discs that match the fronts? i.e. the angled edges?

I'd have a semi if so...

Not easily, could buy rs4 rear discs and carriers but will be a painful install and most likely end up with wrong offset

Sweet davey old pal - il find out the ins and outs.
Do we have to keep to the same size as our stock discs that are on now, or can we go bigger ?? ( guess that would mean bugger calipers ??)
Didn't even know discs could be handed

Ordered a set of the mtec's

I'm a details man and prefer how the cross drilled pattern matches oem fronts better than the zimmermans

If anyone in aus wants a cheap set of zimmermans shoot me a pm lol

Would need to stay the same size... if bigger then new mounting brackets would be needed to move the caliper outwards.

From what I've heard the brakes are rubbish. We have the same rear disc setup as a GTI
