Nah they definitely are, brake setup looks proper now that all evidence of dire a3 rear disc cost cutting has been removed

Glad you are happy.

I prefer mine as is.....standard.

Because i don't see any merit in changing the rear discs I'm being argumentative ??

Nothing wrong with the 8V RS3 rear brakes they are fine.......FOR ME

Hubs don't rust if you look after them.........LIKE I DO

Patronising.........???

What because i don't bow down at the Alter of......P Zero tyres are rubbish and the rear discs are so defective they shouldn't be on the car !??

I'm not the one arguing the toss with the dealer because I've modded things and they won't fix it.

I'm sorry Domino you seem to have a problem

I don't Hate them at all

I'm saying on my car I'm happy with the standard rear disc setup as I am happy with the Pirelli P Zero's

I changed discs to cross drilled on the 8p but just to match the fronts nothing else

Same with the tyres I switched to the MPSS on the 8p

However (I'm not being patronising here either) if your happy with what you've done to your car then it's all good........

On the 8v RS 3 on uk roads, not hanging about either, I like the 8v RS 3 the way it came from the factory.

Just because I like mine the way it is, doesn't mean I'm a hater.

I agree with T-800; the brakes of RS3 mkII as standard are good, impo, and, in addition, I have read a review where a professional wrc driver valued them very responsive on track (and better than in M2 or Focus RS). However, in my new RS3, collected two weeks ago, Pirellis are updated 02 edition, and they feel very good.

Cool story, this thread is aptly titled 'upgrading rear discs and calipers' where discussion is around exactly that

We know the stock brakes are cool for you, you've told us already multiple times on multiple pages

Now back on topic....
