I.ve had the TTU510S fitted by Ben and mapped by MRC, Ben was great fitted it and went above and beyond to keep me happy, even had a family/friend go pick up a DV as mine wasn’t holding boost.
So when I picked it up from Ben and until I dropped it off to MRC never went over 3k revs as it wasn’t mapped.
When I picked her up from MRC the car was cold so was just driving normally until the oil temp was up to full temp, she just drove like OEM but you could feel there was something there as I got to 3k revs, when the oil was finally fully heated up, and the first chance I had of putting my foot down on a private track she just took off from 60 to just over 120 it felt like it happened in seconds I was pinned to my seat i was shocked when I looked at the Speedo!! The way the power comes in so low down in the revs and strong then just keeps pulling to the redline is amazing and it feels like zero lag as everything happens so quickly. And now that I have been driving her for a few weeks, the car is so much fun as you don’t need to rev the nuts off her, you can’t use all the power as you run out of road so quickly, you really have to keep a eye on the road and speedo!! I am so pleased with the car and the way she drives there is so much power at almost any revs.
If anyone is on the fence about going down this hybrid route, I am more than happy to take anyone out :-) I can’t stop driving her !
Cheers

Hi
You can run the TTU510s with out a hpfp but like anything it has its limits to get the best out of our turbo, i would advise
downpipe
de-cat
uprated intercooler
3.5inch in take pipe
panel filter
hpfp
uprated DV
octane booster or WMI

Hi what do you mean?
Ben do you guys at TTU offer your own software to go with your turbo or is it a case of getting Mrc to map it?

Hi we do offer ecu and tcu tunes to suit our TTU510S, we are the only UK company with true boost control to.
If you look at the TTU600 thread we just made 650odd hp thats with our own software.

Two questions for you;
Do you have a rough price to fit WMI and how safe is it to run on a daily car?
Second question, on the TTRS the torque doesn't seem as linear as with the RS3, any particular reason for that? Just curious more than anything!

Wmi is very good and safe belongs its fitted and tuned in correctly, I have fitted and tuned many cars with wmi over the last 10 years I've had zero failures.....touch wood.
Cost is £1450 supplied and fitted we only use aquamist kits.
Also with results, the tt is on wmi.

Will WMI cause any issues with longevity or reliability etc? And how much does it cost to run?

Id be really interested in that then if I do end up progressing to stage 3. I know I dont want a big turbo kit because its my daily still at the moment but im really enjoying tuning the RS3.

Wmi long term helps, it prevents carbon build up on your inlet valves and gives you miles of fun, for me to run wmi it cost be about £15 £20 a month tops.

Nope, road tunes only. We are considering one purely to save time but I still think the best results come from the road.
