Been out to check height this morning.

Floor to arch heights

Fronts are both 648mm (12mm drop)

Rears are both 655mm (15mm drop)

I will check again later this week.

Sean.

Once you've done some more mileage it will drop a bit,maybe another 5-10mm.

At the moment you have a good workable height with a nice look.😊

On my 8p i runs 340mm all round from the 360mm on the front & 340mm on the rear.

I was looking for an even gap front to rear & not loosing too much ground clearance.

Although I’ve just remembered why I wasn’t keen

Getting road rash up me paintwork.

Just been out to measure the distance and I'd be able to go 8 mm further out on standard Rotors that's from the edge of the rim protector to the arch face. :ambulance:

Comparing the photo of your car with mine which has OEM springs I'm not sure there's enough clearance to lower front by 20mm & rear by 10mm and allow for a + 5mm ish tolerance?

Car had full geometry within the hour as with just springs being fitted there’s no real need to wait a long time for them to settle, Coilovers and HAS springs definitely wait for settlement.

My subframe had moved so the adjustment was very much needed.

It needs the subframe shifting over .You`ve still too much negative camber ,front left.

Paul explained that even unbolting the subframe wasn’t going to improve that figure by much.

He was happy with it.

We had exactly the same issue on my car after fitting the Pro kit, the best we could get too was -1.22 which I on the very limit of within tolerance as the subframe would not fir anymore..
MG Automotorsport also used the exact same Hunter machine.

I'm looking at adjustable springs on mine but i'd be getting someone to fit them as i haven't the patience.

After doing the springs I’ve decided to give some areas under the car this treatment.

Forgot to mention

Had it on a level surface yesterday so thought I’d see what the digital measure says

Top = Passenger rear
Mid = Passenger front
Btm = Driver rear

Below is the Driver front

This was a interesting and super well documented tutorial.

I’m going to install my springs myself too, do we know the torque wrench figures for refitting everything at all?

Regards

Ashley
