John, are these any use to you? Not much meat left and the rivets were starting to groove my disks.

Thanks Duke3D: I took a good long look at your pads and in truth was horrified at what I saw, those rivets are hard-brass and the cause of the scored discs you reported; having seen those I decided to take a long hard look at my own 47i6 pads (at 6K miles) and again the rivets were clearly visible and transit lines across the friction surfaces showing.

 

Having read your own reports of the EBC Redstuff I put mine back in, both front and rear, and the pedal was immediately 'up', something the 47i6 Audi pads seriously lacked.  Nothing else changed, just the pads, and a pedal improvement; and the brakes are as effective as the Audi/Brembo items but with low dust - and the pedal improvement...  :)

 

Let's see how we go from here...
