I have just got mine back from tte500 conversion and omg feels like a completely different car.. boost comes in earlier and don't stop pulling.

I wondered where your car had gone, didn't see it for a few weeks. I can feel another Santa Pod session coming on in the New Year, be good to get a few cars up there and try out the new track surface too.

So local Audi group had a rolling road session today & my car made considerably less than what Mrc claimed it made.

Today ran 417bhp/655nm compared to Mrc's 451bhp/768nm.

Just home from working away for a month, car has been checked over, scanned & had timing logs done, no issues found, going back to the original garage that installed Apr stage1 as their dyno reading was very similar to Mrc before I went stage2+.

Hi RS3DUN

I'm new to RS3s so did you have to do other hardware mods for the tte500 conversion?

If £££ are short you can keep the standard airbox & just fit an aftermarket airfiler & larger airbox to turbo intake pipe e.g.. HGmotorsport.😊

The standard airbox supports up to 600bhp.😊

That’s good to know. I’m going to wait till APR bring their recaps out before I make any tuning decisions. Also I have a drive 5k rule for all my new cars to make sure there are no factory issues that need sorting.

So car was dyno'd today on the dyno where I originally went stage1 & they gave me a very similar reading to what Mrc dyno'd my car at so all good.
All I can think of is on the rolling road day the cooling fans weren't supplying enough cold air or my car had crap fuel in it.

Happy Days mate  :D

But why was you doubting MRCs original figures for your RS just co's you got lower one's else were ?

Your 12.2sec 1/4 mile time was very good when you ran in damp/cool conditions !  :)

Wasn't really doubting their figures, just too many people chipping in with their 2penceworth.
The garage I was at today thought I should be running mid 11's for 1/4miles & suggested running lower tyre pressures.

They can say & think what they like & getting into your head ;) but i would doubt your see mid 11s :( as the 8v are not getting them times with there better power delivery.

Those putting there 2pennys worth should turn up at the rolling road meets or Santa Pod & put there RS were there mouths are mate ! :P

Finally got out in an 8v TTE500 & wasn't very impressed, didn't feel much/if any quicker than my car, I know top end it will be quicker but for the blast I had around the back roads it felt no quicker than my stage2+.
Don't think I'll be spending the extra cash & joining the 500bhp club just yet.

No it’s not worth it if your stage 2 already. Low end on stock turbo is awesome.

Did you know they have released a newer version of the TTE500?

Less back pressure
Lower EGT
More power
Lighter mass
Different geometry
Less blades
