Matrix lights are £895. Listed under exterior, Headlights.

Strange - on UK configurator site I visit matrix lights are not listed under headlights as an option. There is only one option listed for high beam assist, the 4 other items are standard. Are there two configurator sites with different options?

Website Configurator is missing matrix headlight option, go to brochures and download RS3 brochure and it is listed as I stated under headlights, hope this helps you. Some nice examples of exclusive paints.

I can't believe how extensive the optional extras lists are on these cars now.

 

I just hope we get some of it back come resale time.

Audi offer the same old tried & tested colours on the cars & then do lauch cars in striking bold exciting colours.

 

Just to tempt you to spend another £2k on exclusive paint.

 

Where is Misano Red / Sepang Blue / Suzuka Grey / Viper Green / Solar Orange .... oh all £2k now FFS !

i just couldn't justify the difference....i don't believe the car will drive much different to normal 8v and the performance difference is negligible..... not a fan of the reflectors in the rear bumper.

 

if the FL had flared arches, different wheels etc then maybe....the FL golf R at least has different wheels to change the look slightly

 

i will wait for the next version of the RS3 i think

As i've said before it'll cost existing RS3 owners at least 20k to change to the FL.................

I hear you. I have low milage 2015 RS6 with all the right spec - pan roof, 21's, sports exhaust, red calipers, DRC pack, full parking pack, full assistance pack, advanced key etc.

 

I was seriously interested in the RS3 saloon or RS5 but can no longer justify either.   I spec'd the RS3 at 55K and RS5 at over 70K all with nil discounts.  I would be hard pushed to get 55K trade in on the RS6.  I think I will keep for another year or 2 and see if prices improve.

 

 

Saw the saloon and revised Sportback on the Audi stand at GFOS yesterday, the saloon was 57k optioned without ceramics and I don't recall it having a pano roof either. Sportback had ceramics on it so it appears they are being offered this time as the 8v launch car at Goodwood a couple of years ago didn't.

Saloon is nice but 57k for it or what I paid for my RS7 used, sticking with my choice.

The disappointing thing with Audi is everything is optional, the RS5 they had on display was £87k without a carbon roof! When it went up the hill in dynamic mode it sounded absolute garbage.
