Saw the saloon and revised Sportback on the Audi stand at GFOS yesterday, the saloon was 57k optioned without ceramics and I don't recall it having a pano roof either. Sportback had ceramics on it so it appears they are being offered this time as the 8v launch car at Goodwood a couple of years ago didn't.

Saloon is nice but 57k for it or what I paid for my RS7 used, sticking with my choice.

The disappointing thing with Audi is everything is optional, the RS5 they had on display was £87k without a carbon roof! When it went up the hill in dynamic mode it sounded absolute garbage.

anyone have ideas on this > quote with the base spec came out at £1k. Found a 1 year old car on the Audi site, all details the same + same "market" value, came out at £430..........?????

Contacted my local dealer today after configuring but he has limited allocation of only 4 cars & they have all been ordered! However, I'm not in a hurry & discussed getting one for next March 2018 depending if there will be a 2nd batch allocate over next few months. Options available no different to what was available for 8V, in fact less - the 8J wheels (235 tyres all round) are only available in silver, if you want black or titanium finish then you have to go for 8.5J option at front. No matrix lights on option list. Managed to keep price to just over 50k - no ceramics, sports exhaust or B&O but have got mag ride, electric seats, phone box, privacy glass & roof rails - very similar to current 8V spec for only 2k more. Can't decide on colour combo - submitted floret silver with black pack to dealer but not sure if I prefer alumin pack? Also quite like the Aria blue but again which looks better the alu or black pack - any views?

I am on the Audi.co.uk site and, under exterior and headlights, it is not listed. Maybe they have forgotten to add this. It is, however, listed as an option on the "other" configurator.

Ordering roof rails and not ordering sports exhaust - really?!!

Spending an extra 1k on sports exhaust for lounder growls, pops & the like just isn't me. If standard exhaust sounds same or similar as 8v then that's loud enough for me, pops & bangs et al.

The roof rails are for taking full size spare wheel in roof box when I go touring - in the past touring hols have been interupted by at least 2 days trying to replace punctured or damaged tyres.
