I was behind one a few days ago

It sits too high, the wheels are way to small ,the gap between tyre and wheel arch to big,

At least the old one had a half decent look and looked the part ( sort of) the new one looks like a half arsed job,

I dont normally put other makes down but this looks absolute dog poo !

I think you are being far too complimentary.... and you haven't even commented on the vomit inducing dash!

A mate of mine picked his up a couple of weeks ago and it does look the nuts. I definitely had some wheel arch envy!!

Ey I never said I was going to buy the focus.
The Type R is definitely being considered along with an M2 but apparently September is looking the earliest the CTR will be on the UK roads and due to me being a tight as5 I'll wait 6 months for the initial depreciation and see how they're holding up. For now I'll be sticking with the 8p 👍

I have heard Honda are going to do some very competitive leasing deals if you were planning on looking at the finance route? £299 pcm with a small deposit.

I'm sorry but even if the type R was the best driving, best engine, best interior......its still the most horrendous looking car on the roads.... i mean....seriously appalling.

That's what I'm hoping for to be honest and I think realistically they'll need to if they want to compete with the likes of the M140i/Golf R. Unfortunately the fk2 CTR they brought out in 2015 on pcp it was ridiculous, you needed around a 10k deposit for £300 monthlies 👎.

In regards to the looks it's personal preference and I do think they'll look better in person than they do in pictures, the last model certainly does anyway, it has decent road presence in my opinion

Ive done a calculation and I think you are going to be looking at around 5k deposit at £300 pcm. That is based on the GT model.

I have purchased a Pashley bike and need to pick it up tomorrow from Somerset. I have rented a Transit Connect! I will let you know how it handles and drives as is does share the grill cover that the Focus RS has (and we all know what an excellently engineered and designed car that isn't) I for one can not wait!

Me tomorrow:

The RS also shares the same interior as the Connect... QUALITY!!!!

Well the bit of transit van stuck over the grille might have been a slight clue.....
