Update on rear bar.It does reduce the understeer slightly and there`s less body roll both of which are to be expected. But there`s an added bonus.

I thought the difference would have been more pronounced. The original OEM bar (at least on mine) has the rubber bushes bonded to the bar. There was no way I could remove them or even turn them on the bar and I tried really hard. This explains why the difference between the bars is not that great. The OEM bushes are adding to the roll stiffness. But the added bonus is that the new bar has bushes that will turn easily .So in situations where you have two wheels rising together (speed bumps) the ride is actually noticeably softer.

Have you tried hustling it down a twisty B road yet, much better turn in, less body roll and a load more confidence in placing the car for corners. I have a suspicion that the guys running MPSS tyres also may feel even more benefit. Not a bad mod for £185 and works well with the stock mag ride suspension.

I agree entirely.I tried the bar first with my winters still on. A slight difference but not a lot. Then put the new MPSS4`s on Sunday.Boy now that`s stunning. Turn in is transformed.

Best mod I ever did ,,, that and the remap,,,,,, mind you that was the only two I did do !

But it made the car so much better could not belive the difference

Yep, have to agree. Uprated ARB and binning the OEM brake pads are probably the best mods you can do if you want to keep the car standard under the bonnet.

has anyone tried a front and rear combo, as opposed to just rear? Would it be worth it, double the benefit?, or is just the rear fine?

034 don't recommend fitting an uprated ARB on the front as it will nullify the benefits of uprating the rear 😞
On the 8P changing the rear ARB is one of the best mods you can do ! 😊

From what I've been told doing the front kinda cancels out the benefit of just doing the rear.......

I guess the kit does what it says in that front and back will certainly reduce body roll, but it doesn't change the handling bias - which you will do if you only fit the rear

On 8V it feels much better too. Amazing VFM mod imho.

Based on all the reviews the FL has totally transformed from a handling perspective. The benefit compared to PFL would be minimal I would think.

The review Ive seen are saying its better, but not transformed - I think with the lighter engine weight, and fitting the rear ARB, it will transform it!
