Has anyone used the rollbar with the lowered springs?  Any feedback?

I fitted a rear 034 ARB on my 8P & it made the biggest change to the handling without affecting the suspension & doing away with the dreaded understeer ! 

I now have B14 fitted & moved the handling on to another level

My roll bar has finally turned up, and Ill fit it first thing tomorrow and report back - So Ill be running H&R springs and the uprated roll bar then.

Mine is blue, which matches my springs?  

 

Ive only driven it for a few miles since, but it definitely feels better weighted and a lot more accurate, than before.  Ill try and get a proper drive over the weekend.

Update on rear bar.It does reduce the understeer slightly and there`s less body roll both of which are to be expected.But there`s an added bonus.

 

I thought the difference would have been more pronounced. The original OEM bar (at least on mine) has the rubber bushes bonded to the bar.There was no way I could remove them or even turn them on the bar and I tried really hard.This explains why the difference between the bars is not that great.The OEM bushes are adding to the roll stiffness.But the added bonus is that the new bar has bushes that will turn easily .So in situations where you have two wheels rising together (speed bumps) the ride is actually noticeably softer.
