RS4 and RS5 should have the same brakes, although RS3 have different number on their caliper according to their support earlier.

The caliper is the same that the gallardo uses...

Hey guys,

so my RS3 was in for service today and apparently my pads are shot (10k miles). Audi want £500 for them, but I'd rather put on something decent for cheaper.
Reading through the threads here, there are a couple of options mentioned, but I'm unclear as to whats a good option;

There's Ferrodo DS2500's, however they seem tailored for track from the blurb;
http://www.demon-twe...s-front-pad-set

The common mentioned one is the EBC redstuff, which sounds like what I want, but I'm unclear on the part number, I found these;

https://www.ecstunin...d-set/dp31513c/
But previously on the thread these were mentioned instead, but they don't have wear sensors;
https://www.ecstunin...t/dp32070c~ebc/

Domino mentioned 'vandit-performance' earlier in the thread for OEM spec Brembo pads, but I haven't been able to find anything online, I may have to reach out to them on Facebook or something.

Can anyone clarify the parts required so I can get them ordered up?

I sent EBC a message re the DP31513C set.

Hi. Please can you confirm if DP31513C redstuff pads will fit a 2016 Audi RS3 (latest new shape, with 8 pot calipers) thank you

Hello,

           I'm very sorry these pads are for the 2010-2013 RS4 and can not guarentee fitment for your year of RS3 I'm afraid.

Kind regards

Thank you.

Do you stock front pads for a 65 plate RS3?

Hello,

          I'm afraid that EBC have done any pads for the new RS3 only the 2011-2013 with the 335 BHP model sadly, we would be doing the R&D for these pads in the next couple of months.

Kind regards

Same caliper RS4/5 R8

Same pad shape on our 8v

Had some RS4 Calipers last year to fit on my previous MK 1 and they had Redstuff pads with them same part number as above in Daves post.

This is the same EBC that told me the EVO pads wouldn't fit in an 8p Caliper as the tolerances were different.

JamesBaby - you're presumably thinking of this post;

http://www.audirs3oc...umbers/?p=86956

Which was in the 8P forum - are the brakes the same on the 8V?

EDIT - sorry, I just read T-800's post. So the part numbers as per the RS4 model are correct then.
I'll look at getting hold of these then and report back...  ;)

RS4/5 are same physical fitment but sensor was a male plug iirc and the car plug is a male (or that might be female I can't remember exactly)

Same with the oe brembos I got from vandit. Luckily my shop had an old set of pads so I cut and spliced the sensor onto the brembo pad to fit
