Hello Chaps,

Had my RS3 for a month or so now. Brakepad light has just come on. Do any of you have any recommendations for the best place for pads? Want to replace the fronts.

Thanks

Generally most people have opted for EBC redstuff, you either have to order them from the US to get them with a wear sensor groove or order them here without.
Other than that EBC yellowstuff ehich has had mixed reviews or like myself ferodo ds2500.
I've had zero issues with mine and it is a great pad, however some people have reported squeeling at low speeds my guess is its due to not been bedded properly

Thanks Scott, I've gone on the EBC website to place an order but it's saying not available? Do you have a link at all? Cheers

Summit racing in the US.
Part number DP32070C these should be the ones with wear sensor groove. You may need new wear sensor,
They don't rush the part out the door generally. Usually take a while to dispatch from what i have heard

My oem front pads have shat the bucket after 7k kms. I sanded them down and cleaned up disc which bought me some time, but one hard hill run and they're making constant noise and rumbling under my foot again

The 8v RS3 takes 8 front pads so you can't use anything from the TT rs. Afaik there are no alternatives in aftermarket yet?

I bought another set of brembo oem pads (not rebadged Audi) from vandit-performance for less than half price of what Audi want. Send them an email for a price as I packaged it up with rs7 rear rotor kit

They've done 18 miles in it so the tech must have been poppin' n bangin' while they had it!

The part number won't work, TT RS takes 2 pads. RS3 8V takes 4 pads per corner

It's a completely different caliper

Looks awesome but is crap. I am probably leaving Audi oem parts to go for aftermarket pads/rotors with higher quality, better and less expensive in the long run. I had ordered the car without brakes if it was possible and if I had knew than what I know now.

Gotta find the part number for these

What other Audi uses the same 8 pot caliper

Edit- perhaps these will work

RS4 and RS5 should have the same brakes, although RS3 have different number on their caliper according to their support earlier.
