Lots of crackle and small pops on mine from cold start. I'm up and out at <6am though so chances of me ever remembering to record for you are close to zero, sorry.

That's interesting, because I've never heard mine do that from cold. Warm, yes, hot, better, but stone cold, not a pop crack or burble just loud high rev then idle.

Mine also popped on cold start its 2 pops it sounds lovely that's strange how once the secondary downpipes are fitted its completely removed this which is giving me second thoughts now about removing it.

I have had my exhaust valves electronically disconnected for around 3 or 4 months, but I doubt that would affect the start up pop? I don't recall before then but I'm sure it never did...??

Mine pops on cold start up every single time - it did so with secondary decats and standard cats

Monopole maybe that might be why it's not creating that noise on cold start then I may be wrong but I'm very certain on mine it was definitely doing this as I said driving mode was on dynamic before the engine was switched off

Mine pops every time on cold start in the morning. When I leave work it varies and it will have been sitting there for the same amount of time.

Same here, no pops at startup with stock exhaust. Have the switch which locks and keeps the flaps open all the time so it sounds louder anyway.

Just fitted the milltek decat pipes this afternoon. It doesn't really change the noises that are made as such (so far anyway), but it does noticably give it a bit more volume and a harder edge to the sound.
Comfort/quiet is a tad louder as well i think, but not by much.
The overall effect is pretty nice, and it's an easy, reversible mod, well worth considering.

I have the performance exhaust on mine. Interesting you found such a difference - I'm sure you're chuffed!!

Mate took a couple of videos of before and after decat, and one without any pipes attached at all.... Heh
