What's the best 8 pots to run and do you need any spacers ?
I've been running EBC yellow stuff recently and can't say I'm overly impressed only went for them as was confused on how to get the red stuff as they didn't make them for the 8p.
Are there any other decent disc upgrades even looked at AP racing and couldn't find anything

Thanks T-800 I appreciate that. I shall give them a call and get them ordered. I think the rears aren't too bad at the moment I'll give you a shout if I decide they need doing though. Thanks again.

For those that are running Red Stuff in the 4 pots, are you running any additional anti squeal shims in addition to what comes preattached to the pads?

I'm following the advice of my mechanic (former Audi tech/ previous highly modified RS3 owner) and going with oem discs with ds2500 pads.
They are getting fitted tonight and i am really hoping for a big improvement with new discs and these ferodo pads

No sorry I meant the plastic/ rubber pad already stuck on the back of the pad. And yes I am squeal free.

Let us know how you get on with the DS2500.
A few inc me have considered but thought they'd be too aggressive for road use so haven't tried them

I tried DS2500 on my S3, as above brakes were a bit weak until they'd been used a few times and warmed up.
Suffered quite badly with pad deposits building up on the disc causing vibration.
Removed them after a month or so,

Running red stuff front and rear and had no squeal or vibration on the RS3

Had a good shot of it last night. Turns out the previous owner was running Pagid pads on mine.
Big improvment overall imo. Can see where the guys are coming from regarding warming them up but literally two/three taps of the brake and there is a very noticable difference in performance.
Just need to decide where to put my ferodo stickers on the car 😝
Turns out when i had my wheels balanced recently some monkey with a wrench has cross threaded the bolt and now it looks like i'm gonna need to order up a new hub for the front. Gonna be about £400 to supply and fit

Not had any issues with squeal driven it in the dry and wet already.
Throughly cleaned the car yesterday so the discs had a coating of rust but still had zero dramas with the pads

Macclesfield Audi 135iKing......

Speak to Andrew in the parts department and mention RS 3 OC

Front discs £330 ish for a pair if I remember correctly.

I've still got a set of Mtec rears if your interested, however the holes won't go the correct way if your fussy like that (at the time I had to buy 4 discs to get the correct hole pattern to match the RS 3 fronts)

Arghhh

Just spoke to Andrew - price is now £526 inc.VAT and after 35% discount. He tells me there has been a price increase! Wish I could stick as much on my sales overnight!

Do the TTRS discs fit? (Please!)
