That's what I was originally ordering but I wanted the RS3 design pack and the red detail and decided it didn't look right with riviera blue plus you should be very lucky to see the exclusive colour that soon as others still haven't got a build date

It was between Nardo or go all out. I thought Nardo looks nice with all black but it just looked to dull. I've gone with black wheels, black pack, red callipers. Should look sweet. Audi say they will let me know build date soon so hope it is October but they said it would be four weeks longer due to the paint.

I believe Jose is right, they'll be reading off the same system. My understanding was that builds were updated once a week (on a Tuesday), but given Jose's bad news this morning I'm not so sure!

I'm now 100% they are not. As mentioned and as of this morning mine has shown 4 status changes in the past 5 days.

Panels on Wed
Paint on Thu
Assembly Fri
Now showing in QC this morning.

So the internet seems to be updating in real time unlike the dealer system

Sorry should have clarified - they will read from the same system but have different refresh/reporting frequencies. I'm talking about software systems now but the dealer system and the internet tracker are reporting tools - linked to the same manufacturing logger.

This would make sense as the dealer would not need to know the different stages of factory production .

You're guess is as good as mine as how long it can take to get to emden , I've seen a topic on another forum where people have found what ship their car is on and tracked it using a marine tracker tracker,if I can remember which forum it was ill try and find the topic.

Not sire either - but previous experience has been that it's the time spent in Emden that's the bigger unknown. I've had cars sat in Emden for a while and others that have left almost immediately .... always been told it can be a lottery

Build weeks are twice only per week, until it starts being actually built when it's realtime as it goes down the line.

Today ordered my new RS3 from Bristol Audi, UK.

Spec is Sepang Blue, Black Pack and Diamond Cut Titanium wheels.

Estimated delivery is Sept 1st.
