I just had a Milltek resonated cat back exhaust and Revo stage 1 fitted to mine so I'm going to have a blast for a couple of years regardless 

 

I had a look at the demonstrator at Audi Tamworth yesterday and, to be honest, it didn't give me the 'must haves'. The styling definitely lacks the aggression of the mk 1, particularly as mine is lowered and fitted with wheel spacers - I'm not sure of the exact measurements but the new one looks taller and the styling is obviously more rounded which makes it look more like the RSQ3. I'm totally with those posters who don't like the silver interior, to my eyes it looks cheap and I would be nervous about how well it will wear. Although the new one has a more modern feel and doubtless more equipment, I can't think of anything I desperately miss and overall I think it has lost its sense of intimacy and cosiness.

 

I will be interested to read the experiences of those expecting their new cars imminently, I hope you are all totally happy with your choices but I won't be joining you for a good while yet.

Correction: Obviously bad luck to nominate the car coming with ceramics.. it wasn't 24 hrs after my earlier post received email letter saying unforeseen delay, ceramics have been delayed from bw36 to bw07 /16..  

 

Tossing up between waiting or going with out !  I was 50/50 before and patience has never been a virtue of mine!
