Can some one do the maths and explain it to me please, never quite sure how the pcp works

Let's just say my new RS3 ( after options ) costs £43,000 ( yes I'm going really light on spec )
I've already put £1,000 down, let's say I put another £3,300 to take it to £4,300 ( 10% deposit )

Im not sure if I'm paying the monthly payments over 36 or 48 months yet, so if someone could run both please ! And could we do a couple of examples 5.9apr and 6.9apr please

And the final ( optional ) payment ?
( I hear it's atleast what the cars worth ) by the way I won't be doing anymore than 6,000 miles per year.

Also I'm planning to keep the car after, if that makes any difference ?

I'm asking as I've been approved finance but still have a monthly budget.

Really appreciate this if someone could explain it. Many thanks !!!

Forgot to ask you what mileage this was for too? Is it 10k pa? I only do 6-8k a year, so often makes sense to do a 5k limit and pay the excess.
By dropping it from 10k to 5k on the s3 it increases the gmfv by 1500 or so.

Thanks buddy. Looks like I might have to rethink unless I drop my spec a fair bit. Just not sure I can convince myself it's worth an extra 100+ a month on a really nicely specced S3.
The A45 just doesn't appeal at all and there are way too many golf r''s around.

For that sort of money the RS4/5 is starting to look attractive....£599 for the RS4 and £649 for the RS5

Weirdly my dealer is still telling me there is nothing on the system for the RS3. They're either wrong or it has been taken off before they've noticed it was on, in which case perhaps the gmfv might be given a tweak?!

I have the fantastic PDF! and a deposit down, but no formal ordering yet, though I have 90% picked a reasonable spec.

Sorry my PDF is the original one and I was being sarcastic about the quality. If anyone has an updated one, then that would be fantastic. I am just fed up with all the hassle factor and wanting to place an order.

Hmm its weird how different dealers have different information. I wonder how they are going to order if the spec has been withdrawn?
Maybe they know something we dont
