45% of new value after 4 years is pretty damn good?  Pardon me being stupid (I've never used PCP) and could be misunderstanding what they mean by 'residual' in the case of PCP...?

That is much more positive. Residual and APR changes should make things much better on the monthlies.
Now where is my dealer with my quote!!!

Roy, your maths is excellent !! 48mths is 4 years

Residual is your pcp final payment or guaranteed future value, have asked my dealer for a three year, 15k miles pa quote.

Looking at the TTS finance quotes, I'm assuming that the RS3 will be similar and I come up with a 3yr, 10k miles pa residual of £23,975 but that is only my guess, let's see what the dealer says...

Had this reply from the dealer

"These are Q2 figures, based on campaigns released this morning. The residual for a 36 month PCP (with 10k miles) is:
£23,794.75"

So looking good.

Any idea what happens to the new residual for 48months? Looks like Audi have increased the gmfv. The sales guy at my dealer has gone on hol for 2 weeks and don't seem to be getting anywhere with anyone else!

I see bmw have dropped there finance rate on the M4 to 4.89% this means that the figures are very similar to an RS3 so I'm tempted to go this route for a couple of years then go RS3 next time

I'm looking at M3's too, just need to get a drive in one...the noise won't be as good though !
