Nardo footage:

Can we tell if this is the standard or sports exhaust? Looks like chrome (standard) tips? Sounds awesome!
In my garage: RS3 8V Sepang blue, standard wheels and trim, SS seats in black/grey with grey headlining, comfort and sound, dynamic pack, dipping door mirror, no farting pack,

I'd say it was the sports exhaust. Both standard and sports exhaust have the chrome tips.

Sports exhaust I was advised at Geneva would have chrome tips as well so there is no visual differentiation. All that video does is confirm in my mind that Nardo is not for me, it looks awful.

It's a real marmite colour isn't it? I love it , and the noise ...
Question to those in the know .... Would that be the sound similar to a resonated Milltek or non-resonated ???
BMW M2 in Mineral Grey

Used to have a Condor Grey RS3 8P, and before that a further 47 assorted money pits

Very nice colour, I am still struggling with the new shape it just doesn't have the presence of MK1 which is a shame as the exhaust system (not sure if standard!) sounds absolutely amazing.

Interesting how so many people are quick to write off purchasing one, based entirely on pictures. The new RS3 looks much better when you're stood looking at one, but then that applies to many cars? I have to disagree that it doesn't have the same road presence as the Mk 1, which let's be honest, looks all too similar to the S3. At least this model stands out against the current S3.
The Mk1 is still a great looking car..but ohhhh so dated now! First introduced 2003....12 years ago.
I highly doubt there will be many comments saying 'I took delivery of my new RS3 but in comparison to the old model, this is not as good. I'm trading it back in'. You'll all love it.

I'm sure it will be a fantastic car, and I like the look of the 8V in general. But I'm in no hurry to upgrade from the car I have at the moment.

I'm not sure that applies to everyone and whilst I like the new shape and the interior is very good the 'head' question remains is it £20k better than the Mk I? Until I drive one the head says no. I'm not sure the Mk I does look dated from the side is the only angle you can't distinguish it from an S3.

I did see it in real life and even started it up, it sounds great and I was quite excited about it but then when options came out and started really thinking about why I was buying it (second car for wife) I thought nah would rather have something bit more special for when I have to drive it!

Well, quite right! Nobody 'needs' an RS3. I guess there are two diverging points of view here. One is: Is it worth the extra money. Two: Is it better? Probably is better yeah, but I doubt spending an extra 20k is really adding much value to what you already have. Again it falls into personal preferences, etc.

I missed out (financially and having just purchased a Focus RS Mk2) on purchasing a new RS3 Mk1 when they came out, which I was gutted about, especially after having a test drive in one. However now things are different personally I have made sure my names down this time on the Mk2.
Really looking forward to getting the new beast, and coming from the Focus RS (which don't get me wrong, loved it to bits) the refinement in the Audi is second to none.
RS3 - Mugello Blue Pearl, Dynamic package, Body coloured & folding door mirrors, High-gloss black styling package, Privacy glass, Advanced Key, Super sports seats (Black with contrasting stitching in Rock grey) with RS 3 embossing, Titanium matt finish alloys.

Dealers configurator seems to be working but brought my Audi code home and Audi web page says it's expired was given week 37 but sure all that will change.
Gone fairly Basic with this one but if it's as good a Beast as it's suppose to be will placing an order for another with delivery middle of next year (when discounts are available)
Sepamg Car for sale next year if anyone's intersted
