I believe that it is the bushes and or joints that goes, unless I'm corrected, Andy reckons thats the problem and probably what's been changed on the new one...Hes talked about having uprated bushes and joints made locally instead of my chucking a "grand" at a new prop
I didn't know you'd had any problems mate
Your mum sounds ace 😄😄

Keep us posted on this please Pat.. sounds like a good and much cheaper option!
Forum has come up top trumps hopefully with a Coventry firm "Dave Mac Props" who I will be sending down my prop plus front and rear drive shafts to see what they think......I've been sold the wrong front drive shafts I'm waiting on the correct ones before I send them all down
(I'm going to be running on TTRS front and TT rears plus hubs wishbones and rear axle to allow for a lower height naturally and few other tricks to get 30mm each corner wider stance......well that's the plan !!)

Possibly yeh ? Where did you come across that ?
I'd love to know what they've done with the frame underneath and how they went about it.....or if it's one they've had made from scratch
Any info on any ideas I'm massively grateful....might not always use em but it may move me in direction
End of the day everything has been done before somewhere, it's just a case of finding it. I'd prefer to find out what others have done then adapt to suit rather then test an idea blind

Choice motors had the car, all it says about the bonnet is, custom bonnet cost £1500
Cheers, I found one in the States ages ago but again no response form contact made....prob not in business anymore. That's a hell of a lot of venting if it's a standard car
One thing we have to watch with big alterations to the bonnet is that air flow does go as planned as I know al or can cause massive drag don't draw air in or don't let it out either (plus there will be plenty of air drawn in, we just need heat to escape) Side vent ideas are only an aesthetic option as without cutting inner wings to bits and fitting ducting they would be useless

Hi Pat,
Me again, if you like the look/Idea of the focus rs mk2 vents , i know a guy who makes and installs them if thats of any interest,
someone with some Photoshop skills could add them on to see what they could look like.
