Yeah Audi fitted mine under warranty thankfully. Seems really well made, just keeping the bush well greased and all done
How the hell did you get that done when std one hadn't failed ?? Share that with the forum please....Maybe I'll carry my prop in and demand a new one lol

Pat,
Are you seriously asking me to post a picture on here??? ,,,
Ill have to wait to my youngest gets home as you know I cant work this interweb stuff
with all that copy and post lark and what have you,,, im sure one of the computer clever people on here will soon put one up ..
there is your cue Sean !
I'm the same to a degree....The techy posts on here leave me bewildered but also that I need to know or I'm missing out on something important !!!
That looks very similar to either the Lambo Atlas or Borealis colours that I considered . It's more Lambo that Audi. I like the interior orange shade that's lovely and I see now why you thought of my build when seeing it.
Only thing I don't like that Lambo do is have the car in one orange but then the calipers in another but I'd live with it if I won one I guess

Sorry mAte I remember now, great colour for the build I'd say, was going to recommend arancio borealis my favourite we have it on our huracan, verde Ithaca would look the nuts too. Sorry better stop throwing more combos at you, bet you've had enough lol, the interior on the r8 looks great by the way fester
I looked at them all I went to Lambo Manchester and sat with the swatches after spending hours and hours going through stuff and images online. I spent months looking at Blues too
I opted first for Lambo Ymir but it looked too brown when I had a panel painted so sacked that off
It did boil down to Borealis and Argos in the end but the pearl of Argos won it.....have a look at the photos of my arches and tell me how close they look to yours as the pearl isn't really showing through at all under there and I think it's more or less Borealis without it......but I could be wrong
The Internet images threw me all over the place as even the same colour looked different in every image hence why I asked a nice parts man at Lambo to let me sit with the swatches
Yeh the interior orange looks nice colour

Really you would prefer a 911 ?
I had 2 turbos and a GT2 up until 2012
I wish someone had told me that the GT2RS was limited run and that the 997 GT2s were on the up....instead of owing more on finance that I got for it I'd have been 80k up had I kept it

I believe that it is the bushes and or joints that goes, unless I'm corrected, Andy reckons thats the problem and probably what's been changed on the new one...Hes talked about having uprated bushes and joints made locally instead of my chucking a "grand" at a new propWell the first one failed Pat, massively. It didn't snap as I clocked the clicking immediately. It was very strange, launched the car the pervious night (with my mum on board as she loves it and fast Audis, she had an ordinal S1 ). Then the day after this awful clicking appeared from nowhere. Was very dramatic when going through areas where there were brick walls either side and the noise couldn't echo and resonate. Booked in with Macc Audi, told them what I thought it was and they were 100% helpful, I'm sure Sean can testify against that lol. They replaced it in three days and showed me the old one. The bush had cracked and allowed dirt into the joint. So the prop itself didn't fail so to speak. Very happy with the result and no worries for future tuning!
I didn't know you'd had any problems mate
Your mum sounds ace 😄😄

She's fantastic, better driver than I could ever wish to be, she borrowed it for a day to go York and came back with an urge to buy a RS4 just so she could top trump me haha
