Well story so far is that majority of parts for the car are ordered and a few bits have arrived. Roll bars diverter valve suspension set up
It's looking like a trip to Germany is on the cards to collect the bodykit as PSI are not happy letting couriers fetch it due to damage etc and past experiences
Turbo unit is a pretty secret and bespoke (hate that word) affair used by a race team (I won't say where)... Trying to get answers and info from them to help us is like trying get a straight answer out of a politician.....but I'm sure mt guys at PSI will sort it
Problem is the inlet manifold that only comes in LHD at present but we assured a RHD by December....I just hope they mean this December !!
We are assured that with the manifold and internal changes we will get the magical 750bhp......maybe more.......and without lag the length of a school holiday
We need some answers on upgraded drive train and joints from said racers I reckon or we could have all show and no go

Interior wise I've done my own investigations the options are endless and I'm a bit spoilt with talent living near to and knowing of all the Cheshire trimming crew and material suppliers that are either past or current Rolls Royce/Bentley
Including my good friend Dave Lilley that owns Leathertec that repair and renew total car interiors and plastics like you wouldn't believe...
Only going to make some subtle interior changes in trim and colour but again it's one of those how far do you go scenarios !!
I'm going for a cornflower blue on the inside as well as the black of course....it's similar to the new M4 blue that's out and very much like an iMessage blue for those with iPhones
I'm meeting with a master trimmer this Friday who it is said is the amazing at what he can and has done.....I can't wait to see/hear about it...

Haaaa thanks Roy but don't be envious of the cost.....I'm getting bit shaky at the financial damage it's going to do to me
To top it all the new RS3 looks like it's appearing spring 2015.....could have saved on body and trim and got newer interior had I waited !!
Oh well just have to makes sure I have built a no scrimps machine
I can feel a full leather dash and boot comin on now....

Well it looks like I'm finally getting somewhere on the choice of trimming for the Project
All plastics and vinyls are going to be leather trimmed including the dash or replaced with carbon fibre parts yet to be made.....I've not had total price yet but in hoping my budget will stretch to having the boot space and inside of boot lid plastics nicely kitted out too
Seat design will change slightly and there will be touches of orange hide and all the stitching to go with the blue that has been chosen
These colours will then be matched and used on the exterior paint job along with dark grey to end up with a car of base colour Suzuka grey with dark grey roof and centre of bonnet along with orange over bonnet remainder and top of wings ( similar to MTM car) plus some blue under that and prob along the sill....but nothing fully decided yet

Hi guys there hasn't been a lot to tell as far as progress goes (only contacts more questions and some ideas) until last Friday evening when the bodykit turned up
I've had massive help off here from the rally car build Posing massive questions and then a contact for a brake system set up that has gone way beyond that and into discussing all the TTRS parts, the driveshaft geometry, it's strength, it's increased track how to set up the right camber etc etc etc......im meeting the guy suggested on Wednesday at PSI so we can work out all the parts needed to get the car handling as best we can
Interior is booked in at MJ Interiors in Bradford as 1st job in the new year along with some hydro dipping at Kameleon coatings in Staffs (100m from my home !)
Audio and MMI upgrade has already been worked out and some parts made and door pods ordered to go to the trimmers too
Colour scheme for paintwork has seen me sat on a Saturday night colouring in !! Trying come up with colour schemes.....I love the MTM car but want my own take on it
Once I know how things are going I'll post more on here but as tuners are taking all the pics their thread is the best to see

The blue is going to be same as the blue leather from earlier post and the Orange will match the stitching
Design is open to ideas but the black/blue/orange are definates

Front bumper has been hung to see how it looks too now ?
It's all coming off again before anyone (like some FB numpty has said) says it doesn't fit very well !!Attached File  image.jpg   54.3K   12 downloads

Body kit looks awesome!

Reference your colours, I reckon you actually need to be bolder to carry off the different combinations. It's a strong combination, blue and orange, and there's a lot going on in your existing scheme. I'm sure it will be great in the end though.

No offence intended regarding your own drawings - do you think if there are any arty owners on here, maybe there should be a competition to see how they would do it?

Winner gets a shot in your new toy??
