Been spending the last few nights taking off the Bilstein B14s to fit the Ohlins DFV which I would have fitted if they were available at the time I bought the B14s.

Top shelf suspension kit comes preadjusted stock ride height at the rear & 10mm drop at the front with 20 click damping adjustment.

I have the same issues at times. I have to rotate the photo 90 degrees on my phone, save it, then rotate it back to normal and save it, seems to cure the issue.

If you wanted ohlins & they weren't available why opt for B14's & not B16's?

The oem suspension was crap over sprung & under dampen !

The B14s were a stop gap till Ohlins became available.

Just an update after taking the RS out on 3 occasions since fitting the Ohlins to find a day2day base setting for the damping including a 45min drive with James at the wheel down the country lanes near where he lives.

I started @ 10 clicks out off 20 were 1 is fully closed/hard 20 is fully open/soft.

I found on 10 i lost feed back from the chassis & couldn't feel for grip level but great turn in.

20 gave good feed back but made the suspension crashy & also lost the great turn in.

Now running on 15 which is a very good compromise between the the 2,this is backed up by James evaluation using those different settings tho he does prefer 10 for his driving style.

The Ohlins lineal rate springs are very much stiffer than the progressive wound B14 springs which shows up in the taut handling with suspension compliance over uneven/bumpy road surfaces.

Thanks for the spin Dell. I was very impressed with the ohlins setup and is definitely something i will look at getting in the future. I second all of the above. :)

Think I might go for these on the 8V. Not a great deal more than KWโ€™s had Ohlins on my motocross bikes and canโ€™t fault them.

Mark.

James said in his opinion the Ohlins felt better than the KWs V3s he had fitted to his TTRS.
