So the works hidden away. Is it safe to say warranty will not be an issue?

All my cars he’s worked on have been back for various warranty work with no issues, comments at all, and yes the work is out of sight of the spanner monkeys at the dealership.

Is the Sportback loader than the Sedan?

I have heard it mentioned here in Aus due to less sound deadening in the Sportback.
