..............shocking reply from the dealer & Audi U.K.?. Have you thought about the legal route i.e have a word with a solicitor?. Threaten them with going to the  media as well.

Absolute rubbish news. These cars can be absolute heartbreakers, but the smiles are worth it when all is well with them. Sounds like you need a good indy to sort you out and then possibly recover costs via the legal route if you were to be successful.

Daniie have you tried emailing the CEO Of Audi UK ?

Great idea. :) I did this after being ****ed about and ignored by Mercedes. I got a response within a day.

I believe this is the current MD:

Mr Andrew Doyle
andrew.doyle@Audi.co.uk
01908 601303
Yeomans Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keynes, MK14 5AN

He will undoubtedly have at least one PA/EA/elf that answers his emails but it will be noted.

I'm really sorry to hear that Audi UK have closed your case & effectively left you with a car that still has a fault! - Same on you Audi UK.
If you don't mind me asking, what are your plans for the car now Daniie?

Hi Rob,

Not quite sure what the plan is next... wasn't quite expecting this so soon.

As the oil leak has slowed down from what it was when all this started I am going to carry on running the car and keeping a close eye on it and hope it passes it's MOT. I am going to speak to a solicitor and see if going legal with it will be the right way to go.

The other option is to limp along with it for a couple of months until I have renegotiated my mortgage, then I can look at changing the car.

No I haven't. I have requested several times to my case manager at Audi UK that I speak to someone higher up and never got anywhere.

Might give this ago.

I have tried to keep away from the legal route, they have known all along that if I need to I will. When I spoke to trading standards they said I have to give them the opportunity.

So now they are not helping me I have said that I will start the legal route and if I get to court I will make the case public. Which they wasn't to happy with.

Heartbreakers indeed. The car is brilliant and I absolutely love it which is why I have fought for it for so long.

Going to an indy is my final option as the costs could get quite big and I don't have a money tree at the bottom of my garden.
