No you don't need a helmet for the parade lap, only for track time.Glad the question was asked as this is my first time too! Ive paid also for the parade lap, does this require us wearing a helmet?
The term parade lap is also a bit misleading, I think last time we did 3 laps and you definitely get the opportunity to give it some welly.
Also kids are allowed as passengers on the parade lap.

I'll update this later as ADI finally managed to get back to us albeit late due to a number of staff changing, Should add though if you want too be included in dedicated track time or RS3-Fest it MUST go through the club.
We reserve spaces based on the tickets we organise hence why this is so important, this also includes our numbers for tea, coffee and the BBQ we provide.
Mike form ADI is calling us Monday to plan the display and sort if we get a club discount for the dedicated track time.
We need to organise getting in smoothly as Castle Combe wanted everyone to pay on the gate which obviously wont work for those that have attended RS3-fest will know. ADI have had to tweak the website and prices so it isn't me thats caused confusion, its them lol.
**If you directly pay on the ADI site you will only be paying for generic public track time NOT our dedicated club sessions! **
Dedicated track time is advertised for 20 cars as the limit has been increased however we will have organised a lower limit of 15 so we will need to hit this target!

As a first timer to this are the tickets collected on the day? I've paid already. What time is it all kicking off. Apologies if this is in the post somewhere.
We will post up a final meet time point which will be the same as last years (thread in this forum section)
We then hand out tickets and all enter in one go to allow us to set up

Thanks for the info Mac, i have paid for myself to go and do the parade lap but i have 2 friends that are keen to go but i have told them to buy tickets at the gate as i dont want to pay for them provisionally and then they dont turn up... lkkewise they are not keen enough yet to just pay me for them. This shouldnt mess up things too much?

Hi Guys,
I did have my name down for parade lap and track time too this year. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I will be unable to legally drive my car that week as I will now be undergoing some surgery a few days before the event.
However, I would still like to attend as I enjoyed the event last year and would like to come again this year.
If there is a convoy planning to meet up in the services area just before Junction 12 on the M4 again this year, is there anyone who could give me a lift to the event and maybe drop me back at the services on the other side on the way back? (I can get the missus to drop me off and pick me up again later).

Maybe we could rent an ambulance Brian and split the cost

We had stops at Reading and Chieveley last year so picking you up en route isn't going to be a problem.

That would be excellent if someone has space for a passenger.
I have been waiting for a date for an op for months and low and behold it turns out to be 4 days before the RS3 Fest! Grrrrrr!
