Ghost immobilisers are well worth the minimal investment - car can't be started even with the key unless you know how/where/what to do to disable it

My preferred option would be an imobiliser that lets you start the car but immobilises it within 5 minutes (when it is stationary) unless you enter a code.
That way they drive off unaware but can't get far with the car. If it obviously needs a code whilst still at the house they may come and 'ask' for it.
Anyone aware of such a device?
