So far so good. Only one small problem, wheel weights, no clearance. Went down the road to see if they could replace the weights on the inner edge of the barrel as appose to by the spoke. They done it but still getting wheel wobble over 70 so will have to try somewhere else.

What balancing machine did they use?
You want to find somewhere with a Hunter road force balancer if that's what they don't have (apologies if I'm saying what you already know)

yeah i read that elsewhere someone had trouble getting the weights in the right position, caliper is very close to the inner part of the alloy now....... :)

Not sure to be honest. Yeah I didn't have time to go driving around, just tried the local wheel place down the road on the off chance to see if it would work. Yeah I've heard of that before but never had any issues with other balancers before but something more specialised is definitely required

100% worth it, the first time i had it done i was amazed by the difference. You might even be fortunate enough if you get all 4 wheels done that two may not have any weights at all. If you do need weights they should be able to manipulate the positioning to suit

That is a very good point Matt, especially having 235s all round and least I can swap fronts to rears if need be depending on weight positions.

Just had a look online and I think I'm on the right website... 'balance my car' and there's only 2 close by. Chingford (London) & witham (Essex).

Update...

Just to give those who wanted to know about the brakes. Driven them for a few hundred miles now and they are awesome. No noise from veins, no squeal, no juddering. The pedal doesn't have so much play because of the modular calliper which is awesome. Really pleased with the setup. Oh and they catch a lot of attention.

Can't decide what to do with the wheels...
keep tight fitment of 19" and the 8V but different colour .
Go for 20" RS6 wheels
Try Oz racing 19" as they may have a larger inner diameter than oem to give me clearance of wheel weights and calliper in general.

P.s I know these are 8V models but you get the gist. Anyone good with photoshop to try on my 8P image above ?

I've always liked the look of the Oz's. Only downside is lots of spokes to keep clean  :(

Yeah I do too so I'm intrigued to see if I can get them for cheaper than that. MPSS?

These have Bridgestone Potenza's on.

The only issue Jay is if 20" 8.5j will fit the rear of an 8p.

What do you reckon could be the issue i could encounter? I know he had them on his 8V with lowering springs.
