No it was never an option on the RS3 8P. However the oem retrofit uses the R8 reverse camera module and the camera of an A6, boot trim of a Q5 and kufatec wiring harness.

Plus coding. As this is an R8 module the camera cannot be calibrated however the distances are not too far off so it’s all good

Must have been retrofitted before hand. It was never an option to select, especially knowing all the parts required to make it work. Still got the 8P?

Flywheel replaced yesterday at MRC to celebrate 50k miles. I wish I could upload a video to show my old one, rattles quite a bit. All the clunking no more. You can see the weak points and where it breaks off at 5 o’clock and 11 o’clock positions.

Jay wich is the part of the Flywheel? and where did you buy it? I also need to replace mine. The shiftting between 1st and 2nd gear is very weird and trembles a little bit.

It comes as one complete unit, what you can see in the image.
OEM flywheel price is £700+ but I used the Sachs direct version which is exactly the same product which Audi use albeit without the VAG stamp but a fraction of the price. I bought mine via eBay when there was a discount available back in June so I paid £477 but they are £530 currently. That includes the bolts too.

Sachs product number is 2295 000 676

Couple of subtle mods recently.

Cigarette lighter delete


Fed up of seeing those blanks on the right of the centre trim so thought a card tray would be a nice touch just like my very first Audi in the A3 8P. Also has the illumination at the rear to tap into from the ashtray delete.





Dell and I liked the touches so much it had to be done to both. Finishes the interior off nicely.

With Jays know how ive remove the front ash tray & fitted the trinket tray so now fully non smoker.
