Resonated section for keeping any drone down?

That’s the one.

That’s the one.

I get a little drone when the sports button is pressed. The most annoying this is there's something in the cabin that resonates at a certain RPM when you're in sports mode. Can't find the damn thing though.

What system you running? Sounds like you need to get someone in the back seats whilst your driving. Sure it’s not just the Downpipe elbow where the sound echoes through?

Cat back non-res Milltek. Secondary cat deletes too.

I am selling my Bull X resonated section which will no doubt fit your system as it’s just a straight forward 3” section that you’d swap out for your non res section. It will cancel the drone out.
Does the Miltek go into a single section or is twin all the way through?

I can’t be doing with drone, drives me mad.

It's separate from the cat and then It joins up after the secondary cats (Or where they would be) to the back box.

Update

I’ve had the old girl detailed by KDS and wheels refurbished at Lepsons (although their was a hiccup with the colour) so they need to go back for another spray.

Purple anyone?

Gtechniq crystal serum ultra topped with the new EXO v.4 was the final protection.

Been 3 years of daily driving and the previous coatings (again Gtechniq) we’re still beading but I thought I’d treat her all round and she looks great.

Shame I can’t upload any videos of the final outcome.

I bought a new flywheel as a spare part as these are pretty common to go especially as mine is close approaching 50k.

c08720deb49ac4c4e6494d63286b36a2.png

Royal steering wheel temporary wheel arrived today so will be whipping the old one out along with handbrake to get redone.

Black perforated sides, smooth black leather top and bottom with silver OEM stitching. Will request to make it slightly thicker.

Also handbrake will be going smooth black leather with silver oem stitching.

Gearknob will be going smooth black leather.

Currently on the prowl for some R8 paddles so if anyone has any contacts or see any going relatively cheap (TPS £500+) then give me a shout.

Looking good Jay

I was gonna say those look a lovely shade of purple

Dual mass flywheel replacement been there myself it’s a job alright but as with all these things easily within the enthusiast owner scope....

Would I trust Audi with doing it...? Would I balls.

I messaged him a few weeks back and they were double the price. I knew they’d drop eventually so looks like now is the time

So being the impatient person that I am and seeing the Royal Mail postman casually walking past my window with no delivery I took the opportunity to see what the deal is with stripping the wheel down for these paddle exchanges... very simple

Silver bezel pops off carefully prising around with trim tools

Disconnect paddle harness either side, just pulls down

Remove torx bolt either side holding the paddle in place and prise paddle away and slide outwards and gentle feed cabling through.

Job done...

Going to leave the original paddles off and wait patiently for tomorrow
