Same with the bilsteins Jonny, the rear has plenty of adjustment but the front could do with having a little more, looking forward to pics 👍

Sonny, have you seen the pics of Jonny's car? Do you think the Bilstein goes as low as the KW at the front?

Yes Matt I had a look, I'd say they went at least the same height, mine are on the lowest setting on the front with plenty of movement left at the rear, check out my pics in members rides under my mica blue rs 👍

👍 looks like I maybe going for coilovers now as after all the deliberating I think I'm going to keep my 8P now!
Just debating what brand of coilovers to go for and whether I pay the extra for DDC

KW & Bilstein both available from Revolution - couldnt split them for quality but I would say the Bilstein kit s a little more compliant to UK roads and we had them on our RS3 demo a few years ago and were brilliant.

Email us direct on: g.copeland@revolution247.com and Glen will get back to you on Tuesday (Monday is his day off) and mention RS3OC and he will make the deal even sweeter for members

No worse than the Eibach springs Matt as long as you don't go too low. Still to get mine checked after fitting the B16,s as I was letting them settle first and now haven't had the time to get it to the garage.

Debating getting the superpro slotted ball joints as I think I'll want to go as low as I can (to the point where it doesn't cause any issues/running etc) and may need a little camber adjustment

Sonny, have you had any issues with the camber going out of adjustment at the front and causing tyre wear?
I'll no doubt want to set mine as you have on the lowest so need to know whether I should consider installing something to give me camber adjustement.
Found out today that superpro slotted ball joints don't for our RS3's due to then having an aluminium hub carrier.
Powerflex do however offer adjustable offset bushes for the wishbones so could go down that route whilst also installing the anti lift kit at same time

I'm sorry Matt, I can't answer that as I've only driven the car about 300 miles since I bought it, personally if I knew about them before fitting my suspension I would have had them fitted, sorry I couldn't be if more help

Ok no problem. Did you get the 4 wheel alignment done afterwards? Can you recall what the camber readings looked like?

Ok so the billies are on and told the tuner i wanted to go nice and low. Been advised there is a slight issue, which i didn't expect, on the rear even with standard 8J rotors fitted with wider 235 MPSS tyres its rubbing slightly on the arch liner felt just inside the outer arch around where the bumper joins/little plastic mud guard thing is.

They are going to adjust and raise it a bit and see what clearance it gives.

I could understand if i had wider wheels/different lower offset but not with the 8J 235 setup....   Anyone else had this issue?

Matt I think the wider wheels work better, as a 8.5 rim with a 235 tyre has more stretch so less rubbing

Any idea what the floor to arch measurement is Matt?

JayRS3 told me he is running his at 630mm but getting some rubbing when having a passenger in the car. I'm running at 640mm with the standard 8J Rotors with 235 section's and no rubbing.

I recollect someone on here trimmed the spoiler tabs off of the arch to stop the rubbing. Cant remember if it was Booker or Nobber!

Not sure of what the measurement is/was but it's been adjusted up a little to give some more clearance.. I'll find out tomorrow.
I've got some pics (pain to upload on here and only in my mobile) and tbh it looks low enough and well balanced. Always difficult to get right with the RS3 due to the larger arches at the front than the rear..

How much more drop when it's settled have you guys experienced?
